Marketplace Mall — Local services in Winston-Salem

Love the store, Hamrick’s ! My mama and I go there when I get paid. The prices are great!

On the other hand, the parking lot NEEDS WORK! There are holes 🕳 everywhere. I’ve found myself driving in more than one hole, especially in the evening when it’s not lit well around Hamrick’s. That’s another thing that needs attention: It’s Not Well Lit Around Hamrick’s! That store is so easy for an attack on a female, especially an elderly person. The elderly are the majority of people who frequent this store. This really needs to be looked into by the Mall Management. I hope they read this review and make a change. This would definitely make customers feel safer as well as saving their tires. Thank You...

It seems like a shady area but honestly some of the customer service here is unrivaled compared to some of the more antiquated parts of the area. Although there's a sparse aray of stores open to the public (less restaurants and more goods), there are a few places I absolutely want to experience 1st hand such as the lounge which features live jazz on occasions.

I did purchase something from the Carhartt/shoe dealer here and can say he delivers some of the best customer service with doing what he is capable of doing to make the customer feel as if the entire store is only open to them.

I feel more traffic should be generated here to support some of the smaller local businesses that depend on...

I went to The Rhythm Lounge and Grill At the Marketplace Mall for a night out with my girlfriend and I must say this was way more than what I expected. They had a jazz band playing while I enjoyed a plate of jerk chicken with rice and beans and collard greens. If you're looking for flavor town you will find it there. I mean nothing could be added to my dish to make it better. My girlfriend had the curry chicken with macaroni and cheese. That was also flavorful. I expected to spend $50 for the meal but came right under at $47 with the tip included. Great food and music... Couldn't have for a better evening with my ole lady!! Definitely...
