We recently had a fantastic experience with The Living Water Boat Cruises on Christmas Eve Eve. Booking through Rue for our family of six was seamless, and we were all excited for the two-hour afternoon cruise through the beautiful chain of lakes, including a view of the impressive Legoland water ski show.
Our captain, Rue, was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife and the area's history. As we cruised along, we were treated to sights of alligators and various bird species, and Rue shared fascinating stories about the million-dollar homes lining the lakes, including tidbits about their owners. It felt like we were on a private tour, making the experience even more special.
The highlight was undoubtedly the water ski show! The performers were exceptional, and we had a better view from the boat than many in the stands at Legoland. It was thrilling to see them perform stunts while waving at us as they glided by.
Overall, our tour was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. I’m already looking forward to making this a regular outing. The variety of options available, including sunrise and sunset cruises, ensures that every visit will offer something new to see. I can't wait to go again! Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to enjoy a unique and beautiful day...
Read moreWe had a great experience. We were a group of 6 and booking a bit last minute. I called the office and Charlene was so helpful and accommodating. She was able to get us on a tour the next day. Prices were very reasonable. We met our captain, Sage at the dock and she efficiently handled the payment and helped us load into the boat. The boat was very clean and comfortable and fully stocked with water. We were free to bring our own snacks on board. We headed out right on time and all the safety info was thoroughly explained. We saw so many birds and our captain knew right where to find some alligators. She was a wealth of knowledge of the history and all the wildlife we saw. Our tour was very flexible, if we wanted to see something more in depth, it was no problem! We even had perfect timing to watch the water skiing show at Legoland. This was a very relaxing day to spend an afternoon and learn about the area. We also had a great meal at the restaurant by the dock. Great company, highly recommend a...
Read moreWe spent yesterday evening with old friends and new neighbors gathering some fantastic experiences and making some lasting memories. We made the half-hour trek to Winter Haven for a sunset pontoon cruise with Living Waters Boat Cruises and shared a late dinner afterwards at Harborside. Before sunset we got to see nine of the twenty-four lakes in the “Chain of Lakes.” We saw some beautiful homes and gardens along the lakes, an alligator going for a swim, ospreys galore, and even a few snake birds. The tour was the epitome of serenity and good times. Captain Rue was knowledgeable and friendly. And the tour ended up with beautiful vistas of a spectacular sunset. Being so close to Orlando, the first thing so many people think of is Walt Disney World. But the next time you yearn for an attraction without crowds and concrete, head for Living Waters, breathe some fresh air, commune with nature, and make sure to take friends. Have stories to tell and...
