China Garden — Restaurant in Winter Haven

DO NOT EAT HERE! This was our first time eating here as we were here on vacation at Legoland and the experience was HORRIBLE Red flag #1 when we walked in we noticed a brown box full of already cooked chicken in the open, red flag number 2 the lady at the register literally rushed me and my husband to order by motioning her hands to hurry up mind you we were the only customers inside at the time and did not take no more than 30- 60sec before this behavior began, red flag number 3 we received our food and walk from the counter to check our food to make sure it was correct as we always do with any restaurant, this lady comes running from behind the counter try's to take the plates out our hands saying what's wrong what's wrong, as if it's a crime to check your food I literally had to tell her to BACK UP, I can check my food! And that was it for me, honestly the food did not look appealing so we threw it out immediately and went somewhere else with that along with the very suspicious behavior on us checking the food made me feel like they had something to hide we aren't from here but that will be the last dollar they ever...

One of the best Chinese buffets/restaurants I've ever eaten. Very clean, inside and out. The owners and family and associates are very helpful, and courteous. They know myself and my family and always have a friendly smile to us, as well as anyone who enters. The food is fantastic. They have a sushi bar, for those interested. They have a haibati grill also. Both e.g. roll and spring rolls. Crab ragoon is delicious. They include the Chinese donors on the buffet bar and they are great. My fav. They offer a wide selection of desserts, including ice cream. There is a beautiful wooden bridge that you walk over to go to other side of restaurant and insert you is a Coi/Koy pond with many coi, from babies to adults. Clean restrooms too. I never really take the time to write a review, mostly because I often forget but I just can't miss this opportunity. Ever since I moved from Orlando I couldn't find a good chinese restaurant that did good but as soon as I had my first try here I have absolutely fallen head over heels! Chicken With Broccoli is amazing, although I have to get the Large size because the Small size comes with more broccoli instead of chicken...as much as I love broccoli I love me some chicken too! & ofcourse my absolutely favorite, KRAB RANGOON, absolutely simply fantastic. These people have really got it downpacked, nobody makes it as good as they do here in Winter...
