This location is terrible. I had my battery replaced by this company a few months ago on my MacBook Pro. Now randomly, my Mac gets stuck in a boot loop if it's not plugged into power. So I called the store up that did the work and told them I had moved and they explained I could take it to any UBreakIFix location and it would be covered.
When I got to this store, I told them what all was going on and the response was...
"It's not our problem... Its not the battery, if it was the battery, the Mac would not turn on to begin with"
Which is a really strange answer, since the laptop was able to turn on back when the battery was bad the first time I had it replaced.

Apple Computers preform system checks on long-in, in relation to power management. Several key activities are:
-Power Source Detection: The system checks whether the MacBook is plugged into an AC power source or running on its battery. This information is used to adjust power management settings, such as screen brightness and processor speed scaling, to optimize battery life or performance.
-Battery Health Check: If the MacBook is running on battery, the system evaluates the battery's health, including its current charge level, capacity, and overall health status. This can involve checking the number of charge cycles the battery has undergone and its current ability to hold a charge relative to its original capacity.
-Energy Saver Settings -Thermal Management -Power Adapter Check -System Integrity Check Ect.
It's entirely possible that during its power management check it finds an error and then get stuck in a boot loop because it does not know how to handle the error from the battery.
So I find it interesting you were so confident and able to diagnose that it was not the battery... Without even touching the computer. You just jumped to that conclusion so the repair would not fall under the warranty of the previous work done.
But when I asked more questions, they said they would need to get it diagnosed. I asked how long it would take because I had purchased the insurance plan the main reason was for faster service. Then they started explaining that because the other company was a franchise Store, I would have to go to that store. Long story short, the people that work at this store are incredibly unprofessional, and didn't wanna do the work or own up to their warranty or even consider helping me out with other options for time saving...
Read moreWent in for a screen repair for a cracked screen but I was fearful that some functions of the phone would not be working after the screen repair. I had an older iPhone and told the technician that if anything else was broken I wouldn’t want to do the replacement and as I would just get a new phone (to avoid several repairs on a inevitable replacement) Before the repair I spoke with the technician and he assured me that they do a full functioning test after the repair to make sure all phone functions were working properly. If anything was not working, they would put the old screen back on and I would not pay for the repair. When the repair was complete I picked up my phone from a different technician who’s assured me everything was working fine. I checked all of the main screen functions and phone seemed fine. However when I got home and went to use the camera later that night and flashlight function, neither worked. I called back the store the following day and they told me that there was nothing they could do about it. Since a different technician ended up doing the repair they told me they couldn’t be sure if he did the full functionality check or not (obviously did not since those two things were not working) today I went into the store and spoke with the Store manager who was very rude front the start. He told me that the phone was probably working at the store but something happened and the camera and flashlight stopped working once I got home. I explained the exact conversation I had with his technician from the start and that if anything else was broken I was not going to want a repair and I would have just replaced the phone. He couldn’t have been more rude, never apologized for the mid understanding and said he needed to hear his employees side of the story because he didn’t believe. I’ve used this store for repairs in the past but will never go back here due to how rude this manager was and the lack of due diligence...
Read moreI hate leaving lower ratings, but the customer service was sub-par. I was initially supposed to get my phone fixed via the mobile repair. Technician never showed up and canceled without notifying me until I called the Winter Springs office wondering where he was. Maddie was polite and directed me to the Supervisor (Oliver) who later calls me and expresses his concern and promised to take care of my when I take it to the actual store. I go to the store in Winter Park and mention the situation to the sales rep. He jots down my information and see's the notes in the system. I also mentioned to him that there should be a note stating a complimentary discount for my inconvenience. He stated that Samsung does not give discounts for replacing screens. I said casually OKAAAY....Then why did I also get an email for a $10 discount (attached) for my first repair? Again, he tells me they don't do that. I needed the phone fixed so I pushed forward. He takes my information down, because he needed to update the Samsung 1-year warranty in the database. He asks for my email and I told him I didn't want to give it to him due to all the SPAM I would receive. He assured me there would be no SPAM. Low and behold every day since then I get uBreakiFix SPAM in my inbox. You think I was born yesterday? Brought the phone in around 1630 and had it back by 1915. Needless to say the phone was repaired, but these employees need more customer service training. Where's my $10...
