Backsmart Wellness Center — Attraction in Woodbridge Township

Misleading. Last time I went to Backsmart was 6/5/17. I looked at my Credit Report and found out I had a collection bill from Backsmart for $140!? What Wait, I called Backsmart prior to traveling to them and asked Backsmart do you take my Insurance Horizon NJ Direct, yes we take your insurance $10 co-pay . Ok cool. I received treatment Paid co-pay and find out now 2 years later I have a bill for $140.🤨! Called today to speak to billing department at Backsmart and the lady who handles billing is out on sick leave 🤲🏾. Then they gave me the number to Collections. Spoke with collections department and they advised me to call my Insurance. After speaking to Horizon the bill is in their archives so I have to wait 3-5 days to find out exactly what took place and why the bill wasn't paid, seems like I might have been billed out of network! So here's my issue when I called and Asked about Backsmart taking my Insurance They Should Have To Me It Was Out Of Network! Honesty Is The Best Policy! I Would Have Never Agreed To These Terms, I Would Have Went To A In Network Chiropractor!!! They Were Misleading By Not Informing Me About Being Out Of My Insurance Network. They Should Have Been Total Transparent And Allow Me To Make The Decision To Go Out Of Network Or Not! Smh ! Shady Business!!! Beware...

My name is Flor Villarreal and I live in Perth Amboy, NJ. In January 29th, 2013 I had a shoulder surgery due to a car accident that happened on May 20, 2010. After the surgery, I started my therapy in Backsmart Wellness Center three day later. I thought that it was going to be extremely hard but the therapists are wonderful. They work according to your ability and what you feel comfortable. I am so amazed that after just a week I was able to shower my self and do things on my own. Thanks to the wonderful therapy that they perform to my shoulder I am able to move my arm much more. Ever since I started my therapy I feel so much better. At the beginning, I was so scared of going to therapy because I thought they were going to hurt me even more or make me go through so much pain. I feel so comfortable going to Backsmart Wellness Center because everyone there are so nice and sweet. They listen to your concerns and your problems. They also do their best to help you regarding scheduling. In other words, I love this place so much I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone who needs any kind of therapy because they don't only specialize in therapy but also in nutrition and much more. After suffering from Costochondritis and trigger points in my chest for over a year and seeking numerous medical treatments with no benefit, I decided to look into the Backsmart Wellness Center at the recommendation of a friend. Throughout the course of my condition I have had to give up all physical activity and my quality of life was significantly reduced. I've always been skeptical of chiropractic work because the adjustments were something that intimidated me, but after trying every other form of treatment I was out of options. I am ecstatic to say that after just one visit I was significantly relieved of my pain and for the first time in over a year I feel that I am on track to making a full recovery! The wellness center uses a thorough approach to your condition and incorporates numerous treatment methods that include chiropractics, massage therapy, muscular stimulation, physical therapy and more. The staff is very professional and friendly and make you feel right at home. The only thing I regret is not seeking out chiropractic treatment for my condition sooner.
