504 Grill and Gyro — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I said I would write a review. I ordered the same thing today 2 classic gyros cucumber tomatoes extra tsatziki(which is amazing here by the way. First time coming, I would give this place a 9.5. This time a soft 7. Food still taste great and love the seasonings. The production/technique was way off from first coming. I am not sure if it is because that guy was working. He absolutely did know that eve. Cutting meat meat off the spindle, YOU ALWAYS have to throw it on the flat top or in a sautéed pan with butter for the mailard reaction(camerlization normal folks would call it). The meat goes on super crispy and hot immediately. This is how you can taste when folks are not using the fake frozen beef strips as opposed to the real deal. Everything in the wrap was super soft, including the meat, which was total opposite of my first e perience. When you guys get it right(like the first time when that guy was there, I would do anything for one of those gyros. To sum it up: First experience flawless Second experience very lacking on execution. Proportions very different from first and second time. Seasonings and sauce 1000% both times. Consistency is far more profitable then just ONE amazing experience.

I may try you guys a 3rd time, but the first time I felt like any money spent and I would still feel like you guys gave me a culinary gift from God. This time....ya let me down.

I still appreciate the effort you guys put into your seasonings and sauces. :)

Update 2/24/25: Food still is a hit! Always taste fresh and delicious!! Chicken gyro was stuffed! It's so stuffed, I can never finish the entire gyro lol I always get the extra tzatziki sauce. I'm going to try a dinner platter next time, instead of a gyro to try something different.

2 years later review: new owners but the food is still delicious!! I had the chicken gyro yesterday, and it was so good!!! It was stuffed with chicken and all the delicious toppings. It was a great ratio of meat to lettuce, onions, tomatoes, etc. The decor inside looks comfy and inviting.

I had the chicken and lamb gyros! The lamb gyro was my favorite! Definitely the best gyro I ever had. I always get an extra side of tzatziki sauce, so good! The fries are good as well and you get a nice size portion. I am completely stuffed after I finish eating. Also the two brothers in there are cool as hell, always great customer service and good...

Best gyros in the area and I best I had over all.. The gyros are super taste with a lot of flavor and a lot of meat and the Greek fries are amazing. The place is super clean the guys that work there are very professionals and very friendly... Other business owners should take some notes from this guys and stop trying to bash them.. Don't listen to brake o rama he doesn't know what he's talking about you shouldn't try to bring a good restaurant down with you're false comments a real business man wouldn't do that and if their business is affecting yours you most be doing something wrong... I highly suggest that you that you try the food at ATHENS GYRO and by the judge you're self once again a great and clean place to eat Greek food keep up the good work guys ill be there tomorrow with the family to eat some...
