Don’t go here. Waste of time and money. Not sure how there’s any good reviews. Came from out of state to purchase a vehicle. Told the salesman I’d like something that would be ready to leave the lot so I could get back to Florida. Test drove a vehicle and it had a transmission light on and they said it’s probably just a faulty signal or something but they’ll check it out tomorrow. I didn’t mind waiting a day or two to sort that out. The next day I call and now the owner tells me it will actually need a new transmission before they even took it to the transmission shop… Why do you know this now and not yesterday. Not sure what they get out of the deal by doing this. They should have said this vehicle is not ready to go anytime soon. I called everyday to try and get the van as soon as I could so I could return to work but they were not transparent and never told me how long it would take for the new transmission. When it was finally ready they seemed to not want to pick it up from the transmission shop and that they will do it tomorrow. After some arguing I got them to pick it up that day though. After that, they tell me I need to drive it for 500 miles and take it back to the transmission shop in order to keep the 1 year warranty on the transmission. This should have been explained to me before so I can plan out what I’m doing. When I went to pick up the car I had to wait hours before someone would hand me the key so I could drive off. After driving the 500 miles and bringing it to the transmission shop, the shop told me that there is an oil leak and to tell the dealer. I tell the dealer and they say it’s not an oil leak but somethings leaking and they need to order a part and to come back after the holidays. I called after the holidays and they seemed to have no clue what I was talking about. I didn’t know what part was ordered or what needed to be fixed and didn’t think I needed to know. On the phone I was told they have lots of vehicles to work on and acted like it’s my fault they don’t know what’s going on. If you’re so busy why is there not a system to sort this stuff on like a file on the vehicles you deal with idk. I had to drive 2 hours to the dealership and speak to the maintenance guy to figure out the part had been delivered and I can bring it back in a week and it will take one day to do the work. I called to schedule a day to bring it and was originally told they can work on it Tuesday. I called again closer to the scheduled day to confirm and was told to bring it monday. I bring it Monday and there’s nobody there to work on it. They say they will hand the maintenance guy my keys on Tuesday at 11 when he gets in. I was told this is a one day job. I call Tuesday afternoon and cannot get a straight answer about what’s going on. I call Wednesday morning and am told they are moving it into their garage. I called Wednesday night same thing. Thursday I finally say I need an answer and talk to the owner and apparently the car hasn’t been touched and their maintenance guy is in the hospital but the owner will work on it tomorrow. When the work is finally done I have to call and figure out that it’s ready. I get to the dealer and they hand me the keys and tell me it’s all good. Before driving off I decide to check the oil and see that it’s is light brown. They say I need to change the oil. Me? You guys did this. Nobody told me to check the oil. If I drive off I would have been screwed. The owner tells me to come back tomorrow morning and they’ll get it sorted out. I get the car the next day and drive home to find the leak that they were supposed to fix is much worse. I ended up wasting a whole week to almost get a ruined engine and worse leak. Left a lot of stuff out there’s a character limit on this....
Read moreHONEST REVIEW ! i bought a bmw 5 series from jersey car direct about 2 months ago i put down 10K !! I live in ny took a cab all the way to jersey to pick up the car. About 2 weeks later i got a call from the dealership saying my loan cant be completed because the money on my paystub was short so i was asked to give my W2 i denied because i did not have it yet. I was told from the dealer extra hours like holiday hours cant be counted when they are adding your pay so i called corporate of the loan company and found out it CAN. Finally after going back and forth the loan was finally approved and all paperwork needed was submitted. My name was spelled WRONG on the loan and even on other papers, i had to call the loan place personally to get it fixed which took weeks. I'm not sure how you cant spell a name right and it is on my drivers license. I bought my car Jan 23,2021 its now March 16,2021 and I still have no plates. I got a text when my plates arrived to them not a call a TEXT! I'm African American.. and we all have seen what's been happening in the world still till this day and I have been getting pulled over left and right because my temp plates are EXPIRED! Nobody cares because its not them !!! I have been being nothing but kind, and respectful because the minute a black female gets ghetto everyone screams the ANGRY BLACK GIRL !! Wrong is wrong ! I asked the dealer to ship my plates since i drove out there 3 weeks ago for my extra key which they couldn't even find! A waste of gas & time. I been asking for my other key for going on 2 months and been getting nothing but unclear answers. My car needed oil and air filters when i first got it and i had to pay an extra 1k for that as well. Overall when your spending your money somewhere no matter how young or how old or how you look or what race you should be treated with respect! I honestly feel like since i got my car nobody has been on top of anything. Not only is my time being wasted but its embarrassing spending all of that money on a car and 2 months later not having...
Read moreI was struggling to find a car that was actually the price it was listed for. I looked online, did the math and knew what I should be paying (ballpark). I went to 10 different car places I found online and when sitting down at the table I learned the "NO HAGGLE" car buying experience means they're going to charge you an exorbitant amount of fees and expect you not to say anything about it. I was tired and frustrated. I pulled up to Jersey Car Direct and saw the car I wanted, I looked at the office and was seriously considering not even walking in. To buy some time, I walked over and checked the car out to make sure there wasn't any exterior damage, and unfortunately, there wasn't, the car was pristine. This was horrible because it meant I had to go talk to these pushy, fast talking car sales reps. I walked in and started talking about the car to the guy who was sweeping the floor. I came to find out that humble guy sweeping the floor was the owner. From that point on, everything was so smooth and easy. Unexpectedly, I even left there with the car that night! I didn't leave there feeling like I got duped or taken advantage of and Nick(the owner/floor sweeper) was upfront, honest, and genuine. I have recommended him to my best friends and family. I even waited to write this review 3 weeks after the sale to be positive that my Mercedes GLA wasn't a lemon! And it's not, it's a great car. I mean, the experience seemed too easy and too transparent to be true, but it was. If they have the car you want you're wasting time going somewhere else, better yet, go somewhere else first and be let down, because you will be. But when you're ready to actually buy an amazing car at a great price (as listed!) see Nick and Levi at Jersey Car Direct! Thanks...
