This review is way overdue but Dr. Jolene gave me my life back by helping me overcome my pelvic floor dysfunction pain. For months, I had been struggling to find a professional with good reviews who treated PFD, and I just couldn’t find the right person. I called numerous places and when I called Dr. Jolene’s office to ask if they treated PFD, the response was YES with such certainty so I knew right away that she had been treating patients who were suffering from the same illness. I made my appointment immediately and on our first meeting, Dr. Jolene went over my history of the pain and listened attentively. She’s so empathetic and so kind, which is often a rarity among healthcare professionals. Seeking treatment from her was a life changing decision for me because before I came to her, I was unable to sit on regular surfaces without a seat cushion and was in so much pain on a regular basis. And after a few sessions with her, I began noticing the difference and how relaxed my PF started to get. Dr. Jolene is not only the best professional in her field but she is just a gem of a human being. Her presence makes you so comfortable especially because PFD therapy can cause you to feel very exposed and vulnerable, but Dr. Jolene makes you feel at ease which is so commendable. She’s a superstar honestly. Don’t wait to make an appointment with her, you will definitely not be...
Read moreMy first experience with GSPT was a couple of years ago. I was pregnant and wanted to start acupuncture to help move me along for natural labor and also did some circulation work for my legs as well as some pelvic floor exercises. I had a wonderful experience but I had no real ailments so I didn’t understand what it was like to actually be “healed” until today.
Fast forward 2 years… I had a gym injury over the weekend. My lower back was injured doing some glute bridge work with weights on the smith machine. It was bad. I woke up the day after my injury and couldn’t walk or even tend to my son. I decided it wouldn’t hurt to see if they could help.
Noah fit me in last night. Besides ice therapy and some fancy sonogram work by Noah followed by a great stretch and massage / Bo did some awesome acupuncture work and at the end of my hour and a half session, I actually had relief.
Today, I woke up about 85% better. I’m astonished. I feel so happy because the last thing I wanted was to NOT be able to pick up my son when he needs me. I’m still going to take it easy and I’m thankful my husband is able to help but I know without the team at GSPT, I would have had a much longer road trip recovery.
I have 2 sessions booked for this week and I know by next I’ll be back in the gym and up to my usual self. Thank you Noah, Bo & the team at Garden State PT...
Read moreGarden State Physical Therapy has been very helpful & the outcomes are positive. I first came to Garden State Physical Therapy after it was highly recommended by my wife who had a very good experience. The location and hours are extremely convenient, and the facility appears to be well kept. I consistently see equipment being wiped down and tidied. Plus all of the staff is extremely pleasant – from the receptionist to the therapy assistants to the therapists (Noah and Brian) themselves. It’s nice to be somewhere where the workers seem happy and treat you accordingly. With regard to treatment and treatment plans, they seem really considerate and effective. The receptionist helps you work out the financial details including understanding the parameters of your insurance plan’s physical therapy coverage. Then the therapists try to work with you to achieve healing and balance, and it’s done in a reasonable way since miracles don’t happen overnight. For example, if my back is bothering me on a particular day, my therapy and exercises are adjusted to accommodate that. I would certainly recommend Garden State Physical...
