Rising Up Garden Center, Landscape Design & Florist — Attraction in Woodbridge Township

A terrific selection, great prices, and knowledgeable people. I have not been to Rising up in quite a long time. I returned after having no luck finding a decent selection of deck plants at the box stores. Their selection is really amazing for the size of the center. They do a great job of putting out a large variety (a little of each, not rows and rows of the same stuff) of plants, shrubs, and trees. They keep their veggies in the green house. I guess this keeps them safer from pests and controls the conditions until you take them home. Fountains and statues galore! Bagged and bulk soils and stone. They carried Proven Winner brand (which I try to go with) and at a better price than Lowes. Everyone that worked there said hello with a smile and asked if I needed any help. I'm sold. I'll return. I visit Rising Up quite often. They have great prices. I usually get my supply of Geraniums which usually cost much less than the larger chain stores.

I have bought bags of pea gravel, stone dust, and dirty stone for small projects around the home. I like the fact that they have samples on display so you get a good idea of what to buy.

Very annoyed with Rising Up Garden Center. Spoke to someone there at 2:00, they said they had the type of plant I am looking to buy. Google listing says they are open until 6pm on Sundays. Showed up at 4:15 and they were closed. No signage to indicate they were closed, just a series of locked doors that had me searching for the “right” entrance. I walked the entire perimeter of the building with my toddler searching for the entrance until I finally found someone who indicated they were, in fact, closed for the day since 3pm.
