Horrible experience, unprofessional resolutions on next door residents full of nothing but kids with alot of noise disturbance, unsanitary trash cans with no trash bags, amenities in the bathroom not fully stocked and were empty dispensers, towels had too much starch that it feels rough, King bed felt like a brick very uncomfortable and painful for your back, free breakfast tasted Horrible, direspectful and unprofessional manager Nada Hassan, and the window view is half a brick wall. We were looking for a relaxing and peaceful 2 Day rest after our wedding ceremony. This is definitely not the experience we wanted to experience being newly weds. We went through anxiety through the entire stay, unfortunately we did not have a car to return home the moment issues started and had to wait until our family member come to our aid to get us the hell out of here. It got even worse once I reported to Hotels.com of my issues with this hotel they contacted the Manager Nada Hassan while I was in the line. False Information about the pool and hot tub is 3FT only "Kiddie Pool Height" the pictures are misleading. The Manager front out LIE to Hotel.com representative saying the issue with me de-escalated when she never spoke to me directly and didn't resolve nothing. See my videos to see what we dealt with. This place is only good for a pit stop nothing else. It doesn't even deserve 1 Star that's how bad it is being here. The only thing good here is Front Desk Rep Anthony. He welcomed and congratulated us on our marriage and tried to resolve our issue on our first night, yet other Front Desk Reps told me "There's nothing they can do" instead of trying like Anthony did. Anthony is the only person working here at this hotel who treated us with the upmost respect and did his best to accommodate us which he should be the Manager not Nada Hassan who did nothing but be disrespectful, unprofessional with me, not a single ounce of showing empathy , compassion, and courtesy in allowing me to enter the first floor door she just opened instead of being rude, disrespectful telling me off that I can't take this door since she just opened it and made me walk to the front of the building. I am partially blind and this Manager immediately closed the front door she just opened to tell me off and didn't offer some type of common courtesy to show me where the front of the hotel is located at least. She acted like I lived there in the hotel and should know where I am going. I felt helpless when she immediately shut the door behind her not listening or caring what I was telling her even after my video recording about my disability. I felt discriminated against how she treated me and ignored me when i mention my disability being partially blind. I dont need tell anyone my disability or have my medical devices to confirm it, especially when it makes me feel vulnerable, a target to be attacked, which has happened in the past. I train myself not to use my medical devices for my Honeymoon 2 Night Restful Stay not become a 2 Night Nightmare Stay. My husband whose a Retired Navy Veteran stated he never dealt with a disgraceful, unprofessional, disrespectful type of Management during and after his service. We didn't have a moment of peace just anxiety and alot of back issies due to an uncomfortable King bed which the sofa bed was much more better than that concrete bed in our stay. It's still uncomfortable but anything is better than feeling like you sleeping on a concrete floor is exactly what that King bed felt. We didnt pay to sleep in a sofa bed. The only resolution is a full refund of this nightmare stay. We even discussed our issues with other guests which even agreed this hotel is bad and is only decent along there travels. Future reference to everyone to always contact the corporate hotel. Read moreWe stayed at the Holiday Inn while visiting with family. The hotel check in staff was friendly, courteous, and very welcoming. It was very helpful as we arrived late and were very tired. Our room was near the elevator the first night but was very spacious and very neat and clean. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and bedding and this met and exceeded my expectations. You could have dropped a coin and it would have bounced because of how neatly the bedding was made. There was not a wrinkle in sight. I was worried about being near the elevator because of noise but it was fine during quiet hours. When quiet hours were over, it was pretty loud in the hallway. We were in a King suite and the bedroom area is away from the hallway, but my daughter slept on the pullout and she could hear everything in the hallway. She was a bit annoyed. The second night we slept in a room with 2 queen beds further down the hall and, although that was okay, our next door neighbors were from some sports group that was staying there and they were quite social. That loudness stopped during quiet hours but they were up early and used every ounce of time that was NOT during quiet hours. Since we are not morning people, this was hard. Having more sound proofing would have been helpful. There was also what appeared to be a child running back and forth the first day on the floor above.
Other than the noise, we slept very well on our comfortable beds and were pleased with the size of our rooms. The decor was nice and our rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed supplies or had a question. We ate the included breakfast each day and there were enough choices for us. The breakfast staff did a wonderful job of keeping up with the large influx of hungry guests as they had a completely booked hotel both days. In particular, I enjoyed how clean they kept the area and how well stocked they continued to keep the food. Anytime something ran out, they were prepared with an estimate of how long it would be before the next batch would be brought out. It was already on stand-by. We also made use of the pool and the hot tub area. The hot tub was not as warm as I expected it should be but it sufficed for that moment and made my daughter content. The pool is small and only 3 feet deep, so if that is what you need, then you will be okay. My daughter, although only 14, is already 5' 9", so that was just used for sitting around.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel. The cleanliness and staff were worth it. The breakfast is included and decent. There was ample free parking and the location is easy to get to. The staff did a great job with maintaining the quiet hours during those times (10pm until 7am) even with a full hotel and tons of...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I wanted to use the Jacuzzi and pool but the pool but it was packed to the brim with children yelling and screaming and they were also being loud in their room down the hall. They shouldn't even allow someone to rent a room and let everyone just bombard the pool it's not fair to other guests. They were out of clean pool towels and when my gf asked for them to restock the lady working gave her an attitude. People were slamming doors all night and nothing was done about it. We got the room with the expectation of a public gym being available because I value my health and the Janitor said its closed even though my card opened the gym and it is supposed to be 24 hours. When I asked why he said because there is a missing ceiling tile that the same kids had broken earlier by being rowdy. I was voicing my complaint reasonably and respectfully because we purchased the room with expectation of a gym being available and compromised to perhaps take a few weights up to my room and bring them back in a half hour or so. The janitor said sure man that's okay. I went to gather my things and voiced that it was kinda silly the gym was closed for what is now just some loose dust on the ground. Another front desk employee came from around the corner and told me I couldn't take the dumbells even though I was just told I could. I told her I didn't understand why and I was told is it's policy , it's closed. I asked if I could use them real quick in the hallway and I recieved nothing but rudness in return. I returned a curse word out of annoyance of the whole situation and I then they escalated things and immediately got the cops involved because they were there kicking the loud party of the hotel. I tried to apologize for the misunderstanding and asked if we could just let bygones be bygones and explained how important working out is for my mental well being and they stood their ground and power tripped and said I had to leave even though I never yelled, threatened anyone in any sort of fashion, nor did I break any laws. We got escorted out by the police and were hurried along to gather all out belongs at damn near midnight when we drove 18 hours straight thr previous day. All did was ask questions about how I would possibly be injured by a missing ceiling tile and I said one curse word. These employees are unhappy with their job and it shows but please don't take it out on...
