Proper & Ernest — Attraction in Woodinville

We discovered this store by accident and it has become our number one go to for all things alcohol. Their prices are on par with other seller but the service we get from the manager every time we come in is exemplary; not only do we get excellent recommendations for things we might like or are worth trying, but the sheer knowledge those recommendations come with is astounding. We always have a warm positive experience there, regardless of how terrible our day may have been otherwise. Proper & Ernest is more than just a store, its a haven. Comes across as a nice little liquor store, I bought liquor here in the past. However, now beware the tiny but rather heavy steel-framed toddler chair that the owner placed right in the middle of the pathway - this is not safe. The chair is so tiny you will not see it if you walk along the pathway while looking at wine shelves. So, when I bumped into it, it was a total surprise, and hurt a lot - I nearly fell over it. Always a go to when I need a bottle of liquor I know I can't find anywhere else, or when I want to try some new beer. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly, and always willing to help you find something. I love going in to get tastings of new beers they have on tap. Prices are a little bit higher than you could find elsewhere, but I'd much rather send my money to a local, small business than a big...
