DON'T EAT HERE. Apparently no one else does and be warned if you do. The pizza is good and the restaurant very nice but I feel totally gouged. I went in with my partner after cycling and we decided on a medium Evergreen (veggie pizza) and a beer. $29 for a 13" pizza seemed a bit much and the $9 draft beers a little steep but we were hungry and the place seemed so nice. But it was totally empty . . . on a bright, warm Thursday night at 8pm. That was curious but didnt really register at the time. Our waiter was very nice, attentive and gracious. Since we were nearly alone in the restaurant, he was able to focus on us. Then the bill came; $80 for a 13" veggie pizza and three beers! The kicker came when the bill was delivered; 20% standard uplift "service charge" was included! Not optional. NOT INCLUDING a tip. Just a 20% uplift. THEN, came the option to tip the server on top of it because, and he made clear, ALL OF THE 20% goes to the house. I paid and we left without making a scene but I feel totally taken advantage of and ripped off. I didn't notice anywhere on the menu that there's a standard 20% uplift on all dining (frankly, it's not something I look for.) I was totally shocked. If I'd been shopping at a grocery store, car mechanic, amazon . . . (anywhere else!) I'd have thrown an absolute fit! To charge too much for a cooked 13" hunk of dough and some veggies, fine. I can make that decision yes or no. But HIDE how much I'm actually going to pay? Then surprise me at the end? By 20%? That's unconscionable and unethical; when I was a kid, that used to be called "stealing."
I understand now why the place was empty when...

While we haven't even had our child's 6th birthday party yet, I simply couldn't wait to write a review. The excellent value and the experience leading up to the event has been absolutely incredible, and it's clear this is a true hidden gem!
From our very first interactions, Emily, the owner, has been an absolute superstar. Her kindness, accommodation, and genuine passion for making special events perfect are unmatched. She has made the planning process seamless and genuinely exciting.
The pizza-making party package itself is truly unmatched, offering so much value and fun:
• Interactive Pizza-Making: The kids will get to be little chefs, with aprons, rolling pins, and all the ingredients to create their own pizzas.
• Wonderful Keepsakes: Each child gets to keep their apron and rolling pin – such a thoughtful and fun party favor!
• All-Inclusive Ease: Beverages and ice cream are included, making it so easy and stress-free for parents.
• Stunning Venue: We're so excited for the patio seating with its incredible views of the green soccer fields, and the chance to use their gorgeous fire pits for s'mores.
We are so looking forward to the celebration, knowing it's in such capable and caring hands. If the planning experience is this fantastic, I can only imagine how wonderful the party will be! Thank you, Emily, for everything so far – you are...
Read moreWe love Ethan Stowell restaurants but this one is a BIG miss. We dined here last night. After going to a winery nearby and buying a case of wine, we decided to have one opened with our dinner. The server looked at us as if she had never seen a bottle of wine. This is a VERY common thing to do, especially with 20 wineries within 1/2 mile radius. She went to ask and learned something new. We weren't given plates, silverware, napkins, anything. In fact we got up to get napkins from the bus area after asking for silverware and not getting the napkins. Our friend was passing out the napkins to us when the server came by and was like oh good, and had us continue passing out the napkins. No offer to box stuff up to go, when we had a WHOLE pizza left. They serve their salad in a bowl that you literally can't serve out of without a ton of salad falling on the table. We asked for a bigger bowl and were given the same size. It was actually almost comical. I love pizza and live nearby, but this will not be a repeat ever! To Ethan, please continue to do quality control with service if you expand more. I would also recommend a "secret" diner to check out the customer service and how things are running. I hope it's not up to...
