Love Willow Tree. I have bought so many pieces from here and get so many compliments. They have Comfy- my fav clothing line. And when I dont feel like goinf to Von Maur, I can go check out Willow Tree
After being a long time customer and usually pleased with my experiences, I will never shop here again. Why? I bought a 238$ jacket that I wore once. I was all set to take it with me on a business trip and it had a rip under the lapel. I took it back basically to let them know that this had happen to this expensive garment and they needed to let the owner or the designer know. There was a flaw in the fabric. They kept it to show Janelle. I received a VM from her and the message was good at first. As I continued to listen she basically suggested I ripped it etc.. okay, so if I did the damage then I'd come in asking if they repaired garments or whatever. As much as j spend in the store I am not trying to get over for a few bucks for a repair. Very disappointed at being accused. When I went into the store to let tut hem know j wasn't happen with her accusation- since she was there, thestaff as a usual was awesome. Janelle never called to clarify if she wasn't suggesting I caused the damage. I go get my garment today- SURPRISE- I HAVE TO PAY. Janelle has turned me off from one of my favorite stores. Guess she doesn't mind costing them customers. Just have to frequent Von...
Read moreI have shopped the Willow Tree for years and now there is one location left in Wyandotte Michigan. I loved it here until I bought something off a mannequin and did not look inside the purse I bought. I was shopping there on another day and informed one of the employees the purse had stains in it who have waited on me many times before. The employee said bring the purse back and talk with Jannelle who will return on Tuesday so she printed out my receipt and attached it to the purse in a different color that I liked. I came on Tuesday and the purse I wanted was removed and place on a mannequin. The employee said to bring the original receipt because she could scan it without having the tag on it. I spoke to Janelle and she stated with aggression she needed the tag off the purse and it had been more than 14 days. If the employee would have said that on the first visit I would have not bother to talk to angry Janelle on the second visit. This tells me that I'm not the first person who has returned an item and had no problem because the employee would not have suggested for me to bring the purse back after 14 days or bring the origina receipt. I have no problem with store policy but I do have a problem with angry customer service. I will take my business elsewhere from now on. I am officially divorced from the...
Read moreI visited this boutique today, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. There were two staff members present, one of whom may have even been the owner. Despite walking through the entire store, I was not acknowledged or greeted, which was surprising, especially in a small boutique where customer service is typically a priority.
It felt as though my presence was completely overlooked. I understand that first impressions can be deceiving, but a simple hello, or even a friendly acknowledgment, goes a long way in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Instead, the staff appeared to be more focused on their own conversation, and, at times, seem to be sizing me up, which made the experience uncomfortable.
I had every intention of making a purchase, and the items I was interested in would have totaled over $300. However, the lack of basic courtesy and customer service led me to take my business elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, because small boutiques depend on repeated customers, and an experience like this, makes it hard to justify returning.
I hope this review serves as a reminder that a little attention and kindness towards customers can make a big difference.
Sad to say I’ve had better customer service in a...
