First off - the missing certificates of completion and passing of a required education of the massage personnel, none were displayed or mentioned.
they gave us advice on , so called areas that we should perform in our future, barely a reason for the advice. they made no reference to the supplements that may be helpful to us.
I have been to other businesses that have given small bottles of water as you leave to illustrate the need for hydration after this type of treatment. That is a small way of saying we care for your future health , but they made it sure to offer to make a future reservation for the same service.
We were asked and told that we had to complete a form with answers about our history , medical and otherwise. We both signed these and did not receive a copy of them.
On this form I was asked to state if there were any of the areas of my body that should not be touched or massaged. I wrote that I did not want my scalp , hair and head treated to the massage, contrary to this request, I was given a treatment massage to these areas. Tells me that my request was ignored.
As referred to before , my wife and I had the " Couples Massage ".
I am not sure where or how this survey will be distributed , but a bit of advice for the management would be to have a survey card available to the customers that this could be completed in the proper place , off the premise and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been a member here for quite some time now, what one would call a regular, and every visit has been PHENOMENAL. Up until recently I've been having problems. Normally I talk to this one receptionist who I believe her name is Hailey, and she has been my rock. Always listening and taking notes, she's the best. Anyways the past few times I've set up a massage all of my appointments have been messed up. I can't recall her name, Evalis or something like that? Scheduling times that do not match what I said worked for me, not even scheduling my appointment and showing up looking like an idiot, just botched. The times I've been in there as well it's the bigger girl (no offense, but it's a description) and she always just seemed so uninterested as to who was walking in, always on her phone and just plain rude. Her presence is unwelcoming, and coming from someone who comes here frequently it's a way to drive out business. Where's my girl Hailey at? And even Carlos? Those two know what's up. ALWAYS on point, always a quick process and their presence is inviting. Long story to an end, I'm only giving a one star because up until evalis (or whatever her name is) things have been perfect and I'm just disgusted with her service, shout out to Hailey and Carlos for being the ones keeping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience at Hand and Stone over the years has always been hugely impacted by the massage therapist Iām seeing. Iāve had some okay massage therapists, some really good ones, and a prized few really special ones! Elsa is one of the very special ones, and I am so grateful that I found her! She is a gifted massage therapist and also special in her ability to intuitively connect with me and what Iām feeling on the days I go to see her. I had recently considered leaving Hand and Stone for a few different reasons (monthly budget, moving my massage therapy to a different location) but recently started working with Elsa, and Iām not going anywhere! Thank you Elsa!
The rest of the staff at Hand and Stone are also great! I had an amazing facial there recently with Rachel, and they always have a nice spa atmosphere that feels like an oasis away from my busy life. I always enjoy talking with the kind and professional front desk staff. If youāre looking for healthcare-quality massage or just a monthly self-care ritual, you can find it at...
