Really poorly run Starbucks, not that there are too many efficient Starbucks in the marketplace; however this one really stands alone. One of the longest drive-thru’s, constant lines inside the store and forget ordering ahead as you will need to wait for that as well. The workforce is constantly chatting and quite frankly not working smart. If it wasn’t for the constant requests of needing Starbucks in my office I would never set foot in this dump..... SAD!
Update 4/3/2020
This place is a dump, corporate should come down and just do everybody a favor and turn it into a parking lot. Even with their in store closed due to COVID19, their drive thru backs up where it takes over 20 minutes to get your drink.... must be failing..... SAD!
Update 3/11/2021
Wrong orders, chatting instead of paying attention to details. Unless you get there before 7am, if there’s any sort of volume the snowflakes melt into overwhelmed disasters. STAY AWAY..... SAD!
Update 3/30/2021
Unless you get here before 7am, expect to wait 20-40 minutes for unsweetened ice tea, so the more complex the order I would imagine the longer the wait. When I questioned the manager why the delay she informed me “we are a high volume store”. Be that as it may, I deal with Starbucks in Philadelphia, Exton and much more visited locations and when you order ahead on your phone, when you’re 15-20 minutes away, you would expect an UNSWEETENED ICE TEA would be ready. I can’t put my finger on why this location runs so poorly, but lately they’ve been regularly running out of product, cups included.... STAY AWAY...... SAD!
Update 9/15/2021
The failing behavior continues, this place doesn’t open up until 9am now! What kind of Mickey Mouse bush league nonsense is this? Smarten up or close down!
Update 11/20/2021
This store can’t get out of its own way. Today was a new notification, they “sold out” of black tea. In reality what more than likely happened is the Gen Z crew we’re too busy running around like chickens with their heads cut off than remembering the simple prep work they need to do. Prior to this visit I was once told this store struggled because it’s a “high volume store”. I’ve seen other Starbucks that would certainly have a higher volume, operate more efficiently. Manage its inventory better, and overall be more organized. It’s very disheartening no one from Starbucks corporate seems to feel the need to address this store, I’m sure they are too busy figuring out what vein, save the earth project they can shove down their customers throats. While I enjoy their products, the unreliability of this location drives me to DD more times than not.
Update 4/17/2022
The pendulum of reliability of this location continues. It seemed like new leadership attempted to make the process more organized, but the day to day is still sporadic. Watching that place while it’s busy has to be what the deck of the titanic looked like on that faithful night. Now they’ve temporarily closed, don’t ever set your watch to this place…… SAD!
Update 10/25/2022
Have this at 2 stars now, they’re getting better….
Update 4/17/23
Good crew in there. Mobile delivery is humming. Friendly group, seem to hold each other accountable. Welcome to 4 stars! You jumped a star starbs!
Update 5/21/23
Back to 3 star territory. Weekend morning crew is a complete liability over 10 minutes backed up on mobile orders at 6:40am can’t wait to see the disaster the real morning rush is today
Update 9/12/23
Still really bad here. 11 minute plus delays on mobile orders.
Update 4/4/2024
Again a pathetic group of people consider themselves worthy of forming a union, they can’t even make iced coffee timely. If they spent a 1/4 amount of time making the drinks instead of complaining, things would be a 1/4 better here.
4/5/24
So today I decide to give them 20 minutes to make a Trenta. Iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Guess what, it still wasn’t ready. This store has to be shut down and retrained immediately.
Update 4/19/24
This location has seemingly turned order ahead into wait wait...
Read moreI stopped by this Starbucks on December 12th while visiting a friend of mine from out of town. The drive thru was packed so I decided to go to inside to grab our drinks. The line was not long but once at the register I wasn’t greeted very warmly at all. I believe the person at the register was named Julian if I am remembering correctly. He was very rude. I ordered my friends drink and then my regular which is a Soy, No water Chai. I drink this every day before work back home in NY before my shift. Furthermore, I was employed by Starbucks from ages 18-21. I know my drink. Once at the bar I saw the barista adding water to a drink after passing me the caramel mocha for my friend and I made sure to remind her that I asked for NO water in my chai at the register. The girl at the bar seemed really annoyed and had to start my drink over at which point I waited about 5 more min to receive my drink. I didn’t realize until I got into my friends car that Julian at the register went out of his way not only to be rude but to incorrectly spell my name which is “Crystal” pretty easy for most But also, halfway into drinking my Chai my stomach is doing backflips, the barista on bar did not remake my drink with soy which was disappointing my stomach was really upset and I knew something was off when I first tasted it I just thought I was being hypercritical. I was the only person here naturally protected from the sun and I feel like this was the reason I was treated poorly here. If you are an AA individual and happen to be looking for a cup of joe or tea in this wretched area I say make your own we are not...
Read moreA few things. I have been here so many times, and every single time no matter what the line looks like, I’m always there for at least 20 minutes. Even when the line is short. The staff there is usually friendly, no problems there but I feel like some need to be properly trained, as I’ve had to send multiple coffees back. I’ve never had any problems with this before, everyone there is usually very kind about mess ups. The staff is honestly the only reason that I go back.
I also think that it’s ridiculous how often they are out of everything. I understand if it’s every once in a while, however they are always out of something that I ask for every time i go, (Which is obviously not the barista’s fault) I just think whoever is in charge could stock a little better.
One last thing, my friend and I have been there on MULTIPLE occasions, where there is a man that lurks there constantly. Last time we were there we caught him taking pictures of my friend, we’ve said something to the management multiple times, and nothing has ever come of it. After asking around, I have been put under the impression that this man also preys on other young male guests, trying to offer to buy them a coffee, asking for things in return etc. My friend has said this man has approached him for the past two years at least, always offering to buy him things in exchange for other stuff. We keep coming back because every time we tell a manager we are told that something will be done about him, and nothing...
