Cape Cod Salt Water Taffy — Attraction in Yarmouth

Not sure if I got a bad batch or what. I have lots of family that live on the cape and they all recommended here. Got the licorice taffy and not only was it ROCK hard like hard candy hard it barely had any flavor to it. Really a huge disappointment given the reviews and how highly family spoke of it. I've had taffy from all over the cape and this is my least favorite so far. 7/10 we were there around 11:45 AM or so in case the owners read this and would like that info to check batches.

Edit: It's even worse, tried the oth and flavors my wife bought and they were clearly wrapped too soon, sticky as heck barely able to get off the wrapper and still ROCK HARD in the center. This is absolutely the worst taffy I have ever had anywhere in the United States. Pre packed junk on souvenir shops I've had is better (Cuffys). If I was still there I'd ask for a refund,...

I am a saltwater taffy aficionado and have been since I was little (over 30 years ago) and my dad (also a fan) introduced it to me in California. Since moving to the east coast, I'd heard much about the saltwater taffy here... but in 10 years I just hadn't found any that really wowed me.

Cape Cod Salt Water Taffy has made me a believer; I tried one piece, and it definitely WOWed me. Walked away with a box for me, a box for my dad, and more for my wife too! Last but certainly not least, the lady running the stand was helpful and personable, making the visit that much more a pleasure.

The taffy's tastes amazing and it was a quick and efficient stop. The employee at the counter did not say anything when we stoped by, no "hi" no "how are you?" No "welcome in" or anything like that. When we asked her if we should get the box or bag she was not very nice, and did not seem like she wanted to be here.
