Maniacal Mead Co. — Attraction in Ypsilanti Charter Township

Absolutely the best place to go for mead. My fiancé and I have visited multiple times since we discovered it about a year ago and it is always such a good time. The other customers are always so friendly and fun to talk to. To top it off Karl absolutely makes the experience, he is so knowledgeable about everything on the menu and he remembers what we like and don’t like, so when you ask for recommendations he always hits the mark. Talk about a hidden gem! This place was fantastic. I'm usually not at all a wine/mead person, but got swayed over very quickly here. The bartender (I forgot which one!) was so knowledgeable and really made the experience great. I ended up sharing flights with friends and was very impressed with the range and selection. Maniacal Mead is a magical place full of wondrous elixirs and staff. You will not find a better place to sit and enjoy a beautiful full flavor still or carbonated mead. The staff and environment is top notch, you immediately feel welcomed and at home from the second you walk on the door.
