I ordered pancakes and hash browns. I received my pancakes, one was undercooked and the other had onions and mushrooms in it, probably from whatever was cooked on the griddle before. I sent that back because it was inedible, and asked for my hash browns again. I got my hash browns and their second attempt at pancakes. The hash browns were so under cooked they were almost completely white, and cold in the middle. These new pancakes were still raw batter in the middle. My partner ordered a skillet, that’s name on the menu was a Romani slur. The veggies were all canned and tasteless, with the exception of the green bell pepper pieces which were completely raw. We and also had to ask for every refill, on the rare occasion we could get the server to look in our direction. On the positive, the server was nice and apologetic about the pancakes. I didn’t bother sending the second round back. I don’t think the kitchen is capable of heating food to an appropriate temperature.

Go to Big Sky Diner for the experience, not for the food. A 50s-styled neighborhood eatery, it has loads of atmosphere. And the menu offers the kind of homey comfort foods kids were raised on in the 50s and 60s. Tuna casserole, stuffed cabbage, meatloaf, stuffed peppers, spaghetti. The prices are low, and the servings are generous. Generally the food is unremarkable---overcooked, mushy, lacking in flavor. But it's definitely worth the experience to check it out.

Ordered the 9.00 big sky special. Eggs were undercooked. Ordered over medium...seems no one can cook eggs anymore. 😒 service was mediocre. You get refills when they bring your food, which also seems to be the norm anymore. 3 stars for this place. It's average at best. We prefer to go to diners and avoid the chains.

Service was so friendly today on our first visit (just before the lunch rush).

Seat yourself... it was nice to not have to hunt down a clean table. Every table appeared very clean!

Menu seemed like a good variety, but I'm also a bit of a "picky" eater (between being vegetarian, having Crohn's, and food allergies, finding a restaurant can be a total pain), so to be transparent about this judgement call, I suppose I might not have thoroughly scanned thru the meat/fish 50th Service was fast! The food was ready so fast, I was surprised to see our server standing there with our plates. If you're in a time crunch, plan ahead slightly if they're slammed (you could probably mention you're ready to cash out when they come check on you if everything's OK... might save the server a few trips if they're low on staff that day, like every other industry!).

Scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast were all perfectly done. No weird overcooked flakes on the eggs, not all weird and fluffy with pancake batter, just really good scrambled eggs. Slightly shiny inside... seriously perfect. Hash browns weren't swimming in oil/butter/grease from everything everywhere. Toast was exactly perfect (the toast snobs of the world can appreciate this finely tuned touch).

Generous portions, fresh coffee, friendly and welcoming people inside (staff & regulars alike).

Parking lot: the diagonal spaces right in front are a tight turn, but other than that, the parking lot is easy and safe. I'd be happy to park my motorcycle right up in that front area!

I've been looking for a "new" diner for a few years. I'm about 15 minutes away, and this is so worth our...

My food tasted like chemicals. I will unfortunately not be going back. My order wasn't even correct. I asked for the gravy on the side, but it came on my skillet. I told the waitress, who said, "Did you ask for it to be on the side?" I should have said yes. This is the 3rd time you have done this to me, but instead said, nope, it's fine. I ate a fourth of my bowl thinking gezz this tastes like chemicals, but it can't be? I thought it was Fabuloso, but the aftertaste in my mouth right now says maybe awesome. My point is that it is chemicals and strong. My stomach hurts right now. However, awesome cannot be used on food surfaces unless it is washed 0ff, so that can't be the situation here.. then I told the waitress about the situation, and she was like that's impossible w her head and eyes darting around oddly. Basically hinted that the counter tops aren't cleaned w Chemicals. The way it was handled was very unprofessional, and I'm sorry this was the situation. The waitress was very efficient but lacks leadership qualities necessary to deal w this type of situation. She didn't even handle it. I paid my bill, left a tip, and walked out for the last time! It's a shame, too. I've eaten here since I was a child, and I'm almost 40. On a side note, clean your air vents! They are piled w so much dust! The air intake vents are basically clogged w dust! It'll save you on your cooling bill this summer. You lost two...

Big sky is NO longer open 24/7 NEW HOURS ARE :. Sunday Thru Thursday ( 6am-9:30pm) Friday and Saturday are still( 24 hours)They have a Senior menu that is great. They offer both daily specials as well as weekend specials. The homemade Greek dressing looks odd but is delicious. Beef barley soup is thick and hearty. They have good meatloaf, pork chops, and Turkey dinners. They have some unique offerings ,pintos and corn bread, stuffed cabbage rolls, something they call chicken pot pie but its not like any you have ever had . it is made with philo dough. If Annie's working order a philly cheese steak ( they have jalapeño peppers available and she will cook them in it for you.) it is different ( steak is cut in to strips)but really good the way Annie makes it.. They have a great breakfast special until 11am. They have a ramp at the entrance but navigation inside would be really tight. The interior is in serious need of a face lift. Service during the day is pretty efficient. At night it ranges from good to lackadaisical to non existent. On the weekends sometimes the bar crowd is more amusing than at Denny's. Breakfast is a lot of regulars one section is mostly contractors and handy men ,another is older neighborhood regulars. Carry out( 630am-9:30pm Sunday-Thursday)24 hours Friday and Saturday)and Delivery (8:30am to 8:30...
