The staff here is really great in both the donation and sales areas. They get so much stuff in there and it's all piled up in that workroom and I don't know how they don't get stressed out over it. They always cheerfully take your stuff despite their heavy workload.
It's pretty clean and organized for a thrift store.
A lot of times I'll take donations to this thrift store but then I end up shopping and buying more stuff. I like how the clothes are sorted by color and tidy on the racks. I have had interesting things in my closet for years that I bought there. It's a bit hit or miss and I think the resellers buy a lot of the clothes.
I was in there one day and a woman had a massive pile of clothes draped over her shoulder and was blazing through the racks grabbing things. It's too bad. I feel a little sad when I take good stuff there, like shoes. I'm pretty sure some reseller will grab them instead of a person that will be excited to find them. I did see a young woman at the picnic they have at the cemetery every year wearing a dress I donated. That made me happy. I bought that dress in San Francisco in the 80's and held onto it for 30+ years waiting for the right time to wear it, which...
Read moreI have donated at the Angel View thrift store in Yucca Valley many times through the years... The staff has always been very helpful and considerate... Also very appreciative... The last couple times I have donated there in the past month the manager I think in the donation section has been pretty much rude as hell even though I stand there politely smiling donating my stuff... I was told today by her that she may refuse me in the future and not allow me to donate any longer and I found it very odd because I had just donated a box of nice little items and was standing there talking to her very friendly smiling No negativity from me whatsoever and for whatever reason she was rude... I will continue to donate there regardless of her rudeness I will also continue to be polite and friendly as I always am And was today...knowing I have done absolutely nothing wrong and that I was being friendly I can assume that she must be a miserable person in general and she brings it to work with her......
Read moreI’ve frequented this thrift store a lot over the last few years but lately the selection has been sad, a lot of either fast fashion or stained and dated clothes. Prices have increased too. To top it off, on a recent visit staff was rude to me and my kids, reprimanding them for touching a clothing rack while other kids are screaming and leaving food/drinks amongst the items. While I was in the fitting room I heard them saying rude things about me and my kids which made me feel very sad and unwelcome. Male employees have also made me uncomfortable on several occasions. And it’s just gross the books are shelved next to the bathroom that reeks of chemical air freshener. Better off hitting up the vintage stores or driving to the low dez. Will...
