i usually don’t return food nor complain about the quality of food in restaurants… but the one garlic bagel that we got here was just unacceptable. it literally was like biting into rubber. I COULDNT EVEN BITE OFF A PIECE FROM THE BAGEL. it was stale and hard.
we went back and told the cashier (who was apologetic) what was wrong and told her that we couldn’t eat the bagel because it was hard to bite. then the manager or owner came out asking what was wrong and we told him the same thing.
his response was “garlic and jalapeño bagels are normally hard” i was shocked at his response because… WHY WOULD YOU SELL HARD BAGELS????? like sir i’ve had EDIBLE GARLIC BAGELS BEFORE 😂😂
anyway, he didn’t even apologize! made us feel like it was our fault for not knowing his garlic bagels were stale lol you can see his response below from another review still defending the hard bagels without apologizing.
if you want to survive as a small business maybeeeee listen to the customer feedback, apologize when the standard of your food does not meet the customer expectations, and try to improve the products you are selling.
he did change the bread of our order but still got the filling wrong (we ordered chive, gave us normal cream cheese) 🤷🏽♀️
edit: changing to 1 star due to owner response… still rude, unapologetic, and accusatory.
“group of 3” — we were only 2 customers. “used to store bought bagels” —- like what??? LOL

I went in mid-morning at about 10 a m, There was one person in front of me. That I had already ordered and was just waiting. I picked out what I wanted and It was not quick in and quick out. It took about 20 min. The bagel was fresh, But I wouldn't say anything really special (I ordered the yucca). I could have done the same thing at home. The people were nice. The atmosphere is clean.
