Great place to bring your kid(s). Clean and safe.
I would say this is the best kid's cafe in all of Ho Chi Minh City. Compared to others, this place is very big. Plenty of room and different activities for the kids to play. The food was good and prices fair like any other restaurant cafes with this quality. I can see myself eating here for lunch if my office was close by.
Staff was very attentive and I noticed that there were always someone cleaning which is a good sign.
I had a chance to speak with the owner and I understand why this place stands out. He too is from Canada like myself so it was quick for me to understand the level of detail and quality in not just the décor but the entire concept. He brings the North American standard of care and quality that if you had been to others, you will certainly notice the difference.
Because I live a bit away from Ccomaya, my kid doesn't have many chances to visit this place. But from what the owner tells me, there are big plans to open in District Binh Thanh, Thao Dien District 2 and District 9.
Can't wait because the Thao Dien location will be more accessible for me and my family and it's going to be even bigger.
The fee they charge is about the same as the others but you feel as there is more value here because of the size and variety of things for the little ones to play here.
I wish Ccomaya Kid's Cafe all the success so that there will always be a place for my kid to go to until she...
Read moreIt is quite a clean and new environment for kids.Personally, foods were good. However, I would never come back here just because of forceable method of payment upon check out.
I have taken my child to many kid cafés in district 7 but never been experienced such a weird request from staff that their cafe is the only one who does not accept cash payment. When i was about to take out my cash notes, the female employee stopped me and said that as per her foreign boss asked, customers MUST pay either card or bank transfers ONLY. Then, i need to explain to her that although I am Vietnamese but have stayed overseas for a while so I don't keep any money in my Vietnam bank account and I prefer using cash for most of my shopping and travel. She still insisted card payment. After a few minutes, she said that she would only accept my cash this time and next time i need to come and pay by card (not sure there will be next time coming for me).
Even though it is not the lady's fault as she just followed her boss's instruction but if you, a foreigner, doing a business in Vietnam, then you should learn at least about Vietnamese culture that most of people here still prefer using cash payment. And at least, don't embarrass your customers in front of others (when they clearly spend money to use your service). Customers are deserved to choose whatever method of payment they like for their...
Read moreWe went to this place as we were invited to celebrate their kid's birthday and I should say that this place is a DISASTER!
The front office which is welcoming you is not friendly at all and she is not indicating the direction if the playground area, that's a very bad start ! The playground is not safe at all for the children, the slide is made up of a wood plank, the is not safety bars , your children can severely get injured ( ni wonder why one if the review is attesting about a child that broke his legs...) 3.The place is dirty and not maintained at all, half if the toys are broken when the other half are dirty or not childproof... The staff leaves cleaning products on the table this is really it good , any children can touch and even accidentally drink those liquid.
THIS PLACE IS A BIG SCAM, THE OWNER OF THE PLACE IS OBVIOUSLY JUST LOOKING FOR MONEY WITHOUT INVESTING THE MINIMUM TO MAINTAIN THE PLACE, IF YOU HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN AVOID THIS PLACE...
