Read moreI was shopping for a shirt for the beach and looking though alot of of clothing. Finally, I decided to ask the young woman who was restocking the shelves. She barely acknowledged me then. She just started showing me random shirts without knowing my size and they were the wrong size. I told her my size and told her the pattern I wanted. Then she found sizes that were way bigger and start throwing them at me. Literally tossing them at me. Just like I inconvenienced her day.
I showed her the shirt I was wearing which was a similar one. The size on it then she started giving me smaller shirts than that. Finally, she showed me some shirts that were the same size but not the right pattern . She said they did not have that pattern in that size but that was a lie because I found them in a pack on the ground. She grabbed it out of my hand and said they're not for sale. They were just a back stock that needed to be stocked on the shelves. She was extremely rude. Being a young woman and me an older person, I don't think she should be speaking to the guest that way very very disrespectful even though I found the shirt I wanted. At that point, I was really upset that an employee at this establishment would talk to me that way.
My wife was buying some drinks and we waited 20 minutes in line to buy some water and a few beers.
I understand people getting frustrated but they don't need to take it out on other people. If you're going to run a busy supermarket, then prepare your staff to be pleasant to the Customers paying money to keep that...
Read morenot impressed by the store. Yes some items are priced a bit lower than in other local stores but just marginally. Comparing that store to grocery shopping brands in Europe or the USA is, well, laughable. The selection of products is truly meager. Even compared to an Aldi or Lidl in Germany (cheap supermarket). Also I am doubtful about the ethics regarding the prices. I purchased a couple of "nuts" items sold, apparently under their own brand name, just to find out that literally 10% (or more) of the bag's weight was just nicely provided by a HUGE bag of a deoxidizer/dessication product (see picture). That bag was not visible (mmmh .. well... of course, right?) when purchasing those nuts (cashew, pistachios). I reported it the next day to a cashier claiming the weight was not correct. They immediately did weigh the bags telling me everything was absolutely fine. I then showed them the big bag of 50 grams hidden inside. They simply said "sorry" and "we will report it but we can do nothing else". ROTFL. Stealing in stealth mode?
Additionally the bags were claiming "all natural" which to me would mean unsalted... but nope... unfortunately plenty of salt added.
Worth a visit, well certainly if you want to have fun seeing the frenzy with which so many customers (in majority Koreans) are getting carts full of items at...
