It’s a traditional old building set by the castle walls. They only have two rooms, both overlooking the valley and hills beyond and sharing a private lounge. Rooms are furnished in an old fashioned style which suits the place. It’s family run. Mum is lovely and does a very good breakfast, which is served on the castle walls - this was the highlight of our stay. One of the sons speaks English and he is very helpful. A couple of practical points - |1 Cash payment only|2 If you have a car, drive directly through the castle gate and turn immediate left. Takes you straight to the guest house and you can park outside without any problem. If arriving before about 5.00pm you will need to buy a ticket to access the castle - 300Lek each - then you can come and go freely...

Our favourite part of our trip to Albania was our stay here. The staff were so nice and relaxed, we felt totally at ease. The room was so comfortable and breakfast included for 60euro was a steal! Breakfast was absolutely delicious and was a complete spread of fresh food. We also had some dinner there, Moussaka, lamb ribs, chicken wings and drinks and that didn’t even come to 35 euro so our whole stay there for less than 100 euro was just incredible given the service and quality of everything.
