Hotel NH Buenos Aires 9 de Julio — Hotel in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

So, I upgraded to the suite, and I blame myself for not listening correctly en español lo que pasaría... I get to the room and 20 minutes later they knock on the door para llamarme a la puerta, and there....sitting in the foyer....are 3 whole suitcases that I don't even own ni know about. So, 20-39 minutes más later they finally bring my correct bags. Okay. Solucionamos, dale...dale... the world is right de nuevo. But you have a shower and NO TUB y cuando abro las ventanas una vista de un building in various states of repair and collapse... Comoooooooooo?!?! Guay No. Que oso, Que feo, Que absolutamente NOPE. I want a view of la gente...una vista of the city. So I did an Ariana Grand... and "Thank you Nexted" right up on out of that joint. I'm sayin', shouldn't the suite have a view FACING el obelisco, vengaaaaaa!! Incluso porque huelen pegamento sus lociones, les faltaban un buen olor, que no?! ha caído una estrella... mitad de estrellita... o algo porque that wasn't an upgrade, it was bajo-grade, jejeje. Also, the water in the lobby is probably teaming with influenza. NH-Nope on that... it should be sitting in ice to prevent bacteria build up. Bueno.... the female recepcionista fue muy útil y agradable, pero su socio no sabe naddddda. I said to myself, "Is this guy from here?" Comoooo?! Not terrible, but leaving for another NH....

This hotel sells their (small) standard rooms with the pictures and description of their larger (superior) rooms. They gave us a room of 18m2 while we booked one of 30m2. Layout was quite different from the pictures. When we insisted they gave us the bigger room that matched the pictures. So bring a print of your booking and the pictures on the website if you want to have the correct room. Water takes 5-6 minutes to get warm. Location is excellent. Subway stations very close. City centre very walkable. Wifi is excellent. Breakfast is really good. Staff is really good. On site restaurant has good bar food options and good full meal. There are great restaurants nearby. There are several 25hrs minimarkets nearby for anything you might need. Space in the room was excellent, after we got the room we booked and not the tiny 18m2 (that is including bathroom)

UPDATE (after reaction of the hotel): we did check the m2! It is 18m2, including the bathroom. And the pictures you show with that room are not the correct pictures, they are pictures of the larger rooms. If you take correct pictures you can easily see the difference in size even...

An incredible experience at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, Alejandra in the restaurant area was an absolute delight. Her professionalism and kindness were exceptional; she always greeted me with a big smile and even helped me resolve an issue that wasn't her responsibility. The entire hotel team is very friendly, and the restaurant food is spectacular, especially the alfajores and sweet breads. The location is perfect, and although the rooms aren't very new, the staff quickly takes care of any problems, like the one I had with the shower water. In summary, a wonderful stay thanks to the excellent service and customer care. From budget to luxury hotels, encountering issues during a stay is common. However, what truly sets a great hotel apart is how the staff handles those issues. Their attention and willingness to resolve contributed significantly to making my stay exceptional.
