Armour Motor Inn — Hotel in Beechworth

The room was OK very clean and tidy. The bed was very firm and not very comfortable. Unfortunately we had booked the same night a wedding party had guests booked in, so the place was very noisy with screaming kids running up and down the hallways and stairs day and night. With the venue 100% booked carparking is first in, best dressed. Goodluck finding a spot as it was apparent the senior drivers liked to take up at least 2 parking spots everytime. Not many onsite parking spots when the place is booked out. We also had christmas decoration lights directly outside our balcony door which even with the heavy drapes drawn would light up the room with their non-stop flashing all night. Would check the booking status before staying next time, if its booked...

Cozy, clean and comfortable. This lovely little motel is located just off the Main Road of Beechworth As told bybthe owner it was the stables for the pub in front (The Nicholas). The rooms are small, clean and comfortable. The owner had ensured our room was warm upon arrival ( we had only booked an hour prior). It has off street parking and very close to all the cafes, pubs, restaurants, attractions (walkable) The owner and his staff are very friendly and full of great tips for the area and beyond. We had a front upstairs room which has access to the front verandah which is shared with all others on same level/side. However being located at the front we could hear traffic noise so if you'd prefer less noise ask for room at the back. Definitely...

Armour Motor Inn is in a very good location for visiting Beechworth, just a short walk from the crossroads that take you to all the shops and cafes, with the gaol and main tourist sites just around the corner and up the street. Rooms are small – fine for a weekend or overnight, but might be a little tight for a longer stay. Many rooms also have a shared balcony which means some noise from adjoining guests, but the location was peaceful. WiFi was very fast and the hosts were extremely helpful – ringing us unprompted to warn us to book dinner as many places had closed and others were booked out. They also offered umbrellas, helped us with the parking, and the layout allows you to park undercover and get your bags out. A good choice for a short break...
