What a wonderful experience! From the second I stepped inside I felt right at home. The house was gorgeously renovated and decorated - it took me right back to my childhood. Margo and Peter were wonderful hosts; by the time I left it felt like I had known them all my life. From handling meal bookings and ghost tours to giving advice on local history and sight seeing locations they were genial yet unobtrusive hosts.

Me and my partner took a long weekend here to get away from our hectic lives , it was the perfect spot ! We really enjoyed just relaxing in the idyllic gardens, such a stunning area. It was a little chilly in the evenings which ment for a perfect night by the open fireplace, I’m originally from England so this was a real treat for me especially 😊 We stayed in the king 5 room which was so spacious and super comfortable,The whole place felt like a step back in time, a real feel of old England with style and elegance . Our accomodation at Finches of Beechworth, which is nestled in amongst the beautifully manicured gardens, was absolutely stunning. I was relieved to hear that children were not allowed here - we enjoyed the silence and sweet sounds of nature, and could happily swim and relax by the pool without disruption. My partner and I also loved the delicious food and wine - we had breakfast, and a Tapas Plate in the afternoon.
