The facility itself was great and we had a lovely stay. The downside was that when trying to arrange for an after hours check in I could not get any response in follow up to a call I had with management, this was before office hours closed. We did manage to sort out access but I left a voice message with the phone number to pay my outstanding amounts and supply rego numbers. I received a call back and was immediately put on the back foot, I was told that we cannot have two cars when I was previously asked by the facility for two rego numbers, she made me feel criminal and told me that I cannot stay and there’s nothing she can do about it despite being told otherwise earlier in the day around 3pm. I was already half way there and In panic at this point, I was given no ultimatum and shown zero compassion - I was in fact shown resentment. After politely trying to reason with her she said she will contact the management and get back to me. I received a call back to which her first statement was “first of all you have not made full payment so you will not be entering the site” this is when I assured her that this is the exact reason why I’m calling, to make this payment. She then took payment and the second cars rego, because after all it was not an issue as it would stay stationary with a tent on it. It was a really rough start to our weekend and took us all a while to feel comfortable there and as if we were doing...

I stayed in a cabin which was clean, had a comfortable bed and good linen - but not cheap.

Annoyances were: there was no wifi the entire time I was there. I actually had to get some work done so this ended up costing me $50 in roaming fees. It would have been useful if there had been a sign up to let you know because I also spent a lot of time thinking it must be my computer to begin with (and there was no way to know if it had been fixed). Also a 250MB limit isn't generous...

Website doesn't list what's in the cabins - so I've posted pics. Note there are hairdryers, no speakers, no full length wardrobe space.

The main lights are either flourescent or LED in a cool white tone, which I find irritating - hated using them. Especially as the side lights are a warm white so when they are on together it's horrible - white tones are actually not good for you, so hopefully the owners will read this and switch to warm tones going forward.

Strong smell of detergent for the first couple of days too so if this is an issue for you bring essential oils or something.

Overall the park was clean, well equipped and in a great location. I stayed in winter so it was...

Nice holiday park, in a very good location. However I found one of the women on the desk very abrupt and rude. I phoned to book for four nights on a powered site. They only had the three latter nights available, which wasn't a huge problem. As we were happy to stay on an unpowered site for the first night. I asked if there was one available, and she told me there was, but it had steps up to the camping area. I didn't really understand what she meant, as she knew we were in a campervan. So clearly not camping in tents. So when I asked if we would be able to sleep in the campervan, she abruptly told me, as though I was stupid. That 'no, you cannot sleep in the parking.' Closely followed by her demanding if I wanted to book the 3 nights or not on the powered site and nearly hanging up on me as I asked my girlfriend if we were happy to do so! It's just not acceptable from customer service. And I hope this lady is disciplined for her manner. I heard her talk to someone else on the phone when we were in the office and she was...

This camp site is unique in its location and friendly atmosphere. It is in easy walking distance of Byron town centre and yet it is far enough away to make the camp site quite and safe. You can walk along the beach into town or via the coast path/cycle way which is safe and easy for for children to navigate. At peak times the camp site is populated by families who return annually and have been doing so for many years, this makes for a mini holiday community. The facilities are clean and ample, with a beautiful ocean view camp kitchen as a highlight, and the staff are always fantastically helpful.

Very disappointed with this camp ground, very very small powered camp site, impossible to reverse or drive camp trailers in, staff were very unhelpful. lucky for the friendly campers they assisted me with pushing in my camper trailer. There is no space between you and your neighbours so no privacy. This place is only interested in your money as they should make the camp site larger so you feel like you have a little privacy and some room to move around your camp site. If i could give them a negative star i would. I don't think the hundreds i paid for 2 nights was worth it. Added a photo for proof.

Great place to be in amongst the natural bush which flows down on to a good fishing beach. Great for family and is a 10 min walk into Byron. Only an energetic 2 hr return walk up to the beautiful Byron Bay Lightouse including a great coffee while admiring the views. Plenty of slab sites and also a lot of sites elevated up in the bush. Plenty of modern cabins for the family. The park is very well managed. There is an amazing sunset wet kitchen decked area with heaps of seating right on the edge of the dune overlooking the beach. Most people take a wine and enjoy. Highly recommend.
