CBD Motor Inn Coffs Harbour — Hotel in Coffs Harbour

Beware, made a booking for the CBD and in error put the date of arrival as the same date as I was booking instead of a week out. Did not realise this error due to sad news I was dealing with early that morning and only when they rang me to ask when I was checking in did I realise my mistake. Now I am being told the cancellation policy is what it is and no refund will be granted.

This is extremely bad when a simple error was the reason but to be told they are not interested and read the cancellation policy says it is required about a business like this.

Yes they have amazing reviews but just don’t make a mistake when booking or else they will tell you to just go and jump.

When money is extremely tight at the moment and businesses are struggling to get back to normal to be treated like this is extremely sad and says what this business is all about profit before customer service.

Must go now as I need accommodation in Coffs Harbour this week but it won’t be at the CBD.😢

Response to the owner: Honestly that’s the best reply you can make, yes you did try to ring me at 3:30 and 5pm and that’s it and when at 8pm last night you still had rooms available and to be told you were turning away customers is a lie. Yes this was my mistake and I am so humble in having the chance to share with someone who is perfect congratulations you must be a truly remarkable individual, and to offer nothing for my error says what you are truly like.

And I am leaving a poor review certainly not for your accommodation but for your principals which are as low as my review.

Coffs Harbour stay This is our third stay at this hotel and it's still our preferred option for Coffs Harbour. The rooms are well designed and modern and the bed is super comfortable. It's in a terrific location on the Pacific Highway close to the shops and the restaurants.

February 2022 Still the best! This is our second stay at the CBD Motor Inn and we still think that it’s the best option for a Coffs Harbour stay. The motel was renovated a couple of years ago, so the rooms are fresh and modern. We really like the location because it’s just a short walk to the shops and restaurants, but this does mean that it can be noisy because it’s right on the Pacific Highway. Earplugs are supplied and you can also ask for a room at the back of the complex. We did find the bathrooms a little bit too small for comfort, so it’s not a great option for a longer stay.

2 September 2019 Best motel in town!! This is an older style motel that has been given a complete makeover. The rooms are spacious, modern and finished to a high standard. The bathrooms are a little compact, but other than that the room has everything you need. We loved the extra touches - leaf tea, fridge, microwave, flannel, large fluffy towels and super comfortable bed. It's in a great location on the Pacific Highway and just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It can be a little noisy though so try to get a room at the back of the property (earplugs are provided). Our host Rodney was super friendly and helpful - gave us some good restaurant and activity...

Great hotel BUT...that traffic noise! I researched this hotel and it came up 5 stars from virtually all reviews so booked direct over the phone. Hotel is centrally located in the CBD and on arrival we were greeted with a warm smile and friendly service, our upstairs room was modern and very well appointed and beautifully styled. Tea & Coffee biscuits, milk and I noted geez they even provided ear plugs.... We had dinner at the superb local RSL club which is a 2 minute walk. Arriving back had a shower in the small but lovely bathroom - even the floor is heated. Free wifi good TV and the bed was comfortable...BUT it was when we decided to go to sleep that it finally dawned on me why the need for ear plugs. I noted that double glazed windows but it did little to suppress the amount of traffic noise because the hotel is adjacent to the main Sydney to Brisbane highway and the road noise from the endless procession of huge semis and road transports was very unsettling. We both managed to get some sleep but it was not at all a restful or peaceful location so sadly couldn't...
