Casual lunch today. Excellent quality food and value - had mixed entree each and all yum. Shared steak n black bean sauce with loads of meat n vegetable and taste hit the spot, accompanied by very bodied delicious special fried rice and it was special. Pacific Palace will be a regular haunt for us and visitors to town as it’s a winner - so much to try on their fabulous menu. Very efficient service and we have learned to spread our ordering so not to get it all boom boom boom. This venue is pleasingly traditional Chinese and stylish decor. On holiday and our first visit here, suitably impressed while walking in, a customer walking out told us how good the food is, we were chomping at the bit to order and enjoy the food. Immediately seated, the place is immaculately kept and atmosphere was lovely. We ordered the sizzling Mongolian lamb (my favourite), sweet and sour pork and special fried rice. It was a pleasant surprise while visiting Coffs and we tried out this place, nicely decorated and clean presentation on the inside. Dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious, what prompted us for the tryout was 'no added MSG'. We typically avoid MSG Chinese eatery. Seafood hot pot - yum, definitely going back for that.
