I went to view the 2019 Archibald Prize and found friendly staff and a large open well-lit space. All on ground floor so wheelchair accessible. I enjoyed the exhibition, didn’t see any gift shop (which I think are usually worth a browse at galleries), then strolled a couple of blocks to the second site for the remainder of the exhibition (in the nearby shopping centre). Staff were friendly, the spaces are inviting and the building itself is really interesting. We went up to the third level to check out the view too!
