Ramen Go Coffs — Restaurant in Coffs Harbour

My partner and I were craving soup due to the rainy weather. We've tried a few other local Japanese places chasing that perfect ramen bowl. We were not disappointed in the new local in town. Ramen Go, has a clean, fresh hole in the wall style. I liked that you could see into the kitchen, which made the dining area much more open and I liked watching the bustling kitchen. Timber tables, Japanese kitsch art and live greenery added to the welcoming and fresh ambience.

We both had Shio Ramen and the flavour was so delicious yet light. The karage chicken was perfectly hot, a great crumb we likened to KFC but I think less heavy. Definitely fresh oil in use. My boyfriend kept exclaiming how it's his favourite ramen and karage in Coffs. Though the flavours were so divine they don't use any MSG which I'm allergic too. Not missing any umami flavours it is still light but portions massive. We were SO full. We couldn't help stuffing ourselves with every last bit.

We had take away and it was a perfect addition to our anime night. The thoughtful packaging meant everything was still red hot when we served up at home. We can't wait to try more on the menu and will tell our friends.

This was the only thing that was missing in Coffs harbour. Moved from Sydney 2 years back and didnt have much in the way of great noodles!!! This is a fantastic addition to Coffs Coast food choice range . RAMEN is great. Only discovered it last week and have been there twice already. Have lived in SE Asia and throughout Asia and a bowl of ramen is life!!! It's a nice joint and the team was friendly. Nice and clean setup, hope the Coffs community can support this new joint, I will. Hope you can bring in some fire ramen as well like the real spicy...
