Camden Motor Inn — Hotel in Gold Coast City

Location is based directly on the main road off the “ Gold Coast highway” and close to all ammenities. I am very pleased to have booked this motel out of the blue with walking distance (across the road) to shops such as subway, Night Owl (all night convenience store), coffee shop, Baskin BR Robbins ice cream, Mermaid Beach seafood take away, BWS, Italian pizza and more!!!!!! Tony (staff) was prompt with the communication basis and the motel is very clean with several parking available and off street parking available. Swimming pool and sauna for your enjoyment and a large balcony avail to sit and enjoy the music/singer with the guitar playing subtle soft rock beats from across the road at the corner from the café. I would absolutely recommend this accomodation to anyone, I have attached videos and photos for yourself to review firsthand! Great service and at a reasonable price and provided a great feedback👍🏻🦋🌴 Only a 2-3min walk down from the same street from the accommodation to 🏖 the beach!!!! FEEDBACK

Top marks for cleanliness and customer service, very competitive pricing, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, however, there were a few issues regarding the bathroom, the main one being the stress of thinking there was no hot water! After a few minutes of trying, my partner said there was no hot water from either tap in the shower. I thought maybe she forgot how taps work 😆, but I couldn't get any hot water either. I then tried the hot tap at the basin, and after about another minute on almost full pressure, it started to warm up, eventually becoming hot. I then tried the shower again, and after another 20 seconds it did the same. It didn't help that the h & c taps in the shower were loose, and the opposite orientation to the ones at the basin.. also, the shower pressure was (adequate, but) far less than the basin, so who knows how long it could have taken, if only relying on the shower taps? the next morning, the delay for hot was less than 20 seconds. The only other issues were the cheap-o toilet tissue, like you might find in toilets at a train station (I didn't know it still existed) and also the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom was a minor inconvenience, but whatever, next time I'll bring...

This motel has gone from a family owned to a nobody knows managed by honest people with a tight rein on decision making.Iwill never return or recommend the establishment as follows; After entry to our unit our tv went into meltdown ie someone (possibly a previous customer)enabled a parental control which shut down and blocked access to said item.Long story short between 7.30 and 1030pm I had many phone calls /txt to night managers.No joy.Ascertained that you need to enter the same pin to restart tv.Problem was no one could work out the pin.I suggested put a tv from another room in .Sorry can’t do that.Ihave found that the manager has such a tight rein on decision making that he cannot make a decision.Heaven help the next customer as after 2hrs the tv shuts down.In conclusion this rant may seem over the top however in compensation the manager offered a late checkout.As it turns out if I entered a contract with tv manufacturers Icould request a pin change (providing email and normal id...
