The bathrooms are the most unpleasant thing I have ever seen, the tiles are all completely peeled off and when you step on them all the dirty water with the disgusting smell of raw water black at your feet, this was unbearable, it made you want to run out of there quickly In the bathrooms they have a drawer that hasn't been cleaned in years, it seems incredible to me that a place like this where they apparently have many clients staying for 1 or 3 nights maximum do not have the courtesy to make the minimum repairs to these disgusting bathrooms, For the bathrooms I give a score of MINUS 100 because it is disgusting. In the coffee maker area they have a sign asking you to wash the kitchen utensils you use and there is not even a sponge to wash them, nor do they provide towels or something similar to clean them. I think the owner thinks that as travelers we should always carry pot sponges and soap the kitchen in the suitcase, On the other hand, it was very unfortunate to always read everywhere on the site "we are not responsible for your things", which translation means: "leave it there but if it gets lost it is not my problem because you are not in a safe place even if we have surveillance cameras", In the showers there are two product outlets: one that says soap and the other shampoo, but at the same time Having to use both, I realized that the same thing they use for soap, they put it as if it were shampoo and they also use it with water, so the product is of very very very poor quality. the fact that you pay a Low rate does not mean that you should accept conditions as horrible as those in this place, The sleeping cabins are acceptable, but I suggest at least putting a small bar to be able to place small things and not have to them on the bed

Summary: is it worth $57 per night - no. Is it the best shared accommodation in the cbd - most likely PRO’s; - in the CBD - showers are HOT! Yay - doona, pillows and linen are good. Doona is amazing, but pillows are good but due to the firmness of the mattress need to be a higher profile pillow (work up a little sore in the middle of the night) - it’s not a complete pig sty - they have tried to rectify the bathroom issues - pods are ok, comfy enough (if you are short and light) - fast charging in pods is fast CON’s - the place is just generally unclean… I wish I had taken more photos but some things (the sink taps) don’t look like they’ve been cleaned since the place opened, hair everywhere, dead bugs on bed, random gross stuff in bathrooms etc etc - dead bugs on my bed… seriously… just no (had to ask the person on site to change the linen) - there are three wings, the only thing making the female dorm is a curtain… - you NEED ear plugs AND an eye mask. It’s incredibly bright, especially if you are in an end pod… the construction is poor. - it’s cold!!! Turn on the heating! (I had ventilation off) - no wifi in pods - contact number provided through email attachment is WRONG! I didn’t use the kitchen/hang out area (btw it’s tiny) or the laundry, so can’t comment There seems to be someone living there 24/7 who works for the business??? Not sure

I love the concept of capsule hotels. A great way to meet people yet not share a room full of snoring people. I had to come to the realization that only Asians and older guests get it. They are respectful, quiet and clean up after themselves. The owner was quick to respond to issues, the staff was not able to remove guests who cause MAJOR issues. Which lead to a few guests leaving. Daily cleaning was good. They also offer a lot of free items and services: slippers, laundry ( including detergent), ear buds and on the shelf at entrance are many items other guests left and you can use. Kitchen area could be upgraded to feel more welcome. Showers were clean. Bathroom doors don’t close properly and the noise echoed through the hotel. I like the concept , but I think capsule hotels in the West need on premise staff. The pod itself was well equipped. Only the mattress was a bit too hard for me (foam was fairly thin). I met some nice people here.

Never known dryers to be this bad. Took well over Eight hours to half dry. Regardless of settings. Or load. Misleading photos online suggested a kitchenette but there is no fridge or freezer or stove or plates or utensils. There was a microwave but it was abruptly removed dispite still working after someone burnt toast in it a full two days before it was removed. When the smoke alarm went off the staff continued as normal cleaning and never once focused on ensuring their guests were safe and out of the building in fact some staff stayed out front on the phone but didn't care for aprising guests or ensuring they got out. Add to that the gross inaccuracies of the emergency maps in the building.

Communication breakdown when getting a new towel.

Both bathroom and laundry have floors constantly covered in water I have nearly broken my neck many times. The bathroom lights go off every seven minutes and one has to walk out of the shower to turn them back on. Why the sensor is pointing in the wrong direction is byound me. This also offers more chances in the dark for customers to slip over on the water that's never cleaned up or addressed to prevent.

Also, the cubicle door locked me in and a friend had to come help me get out.

Furthermore, the toilet paper holders in every cubicle constantly slam open whenever a person uses them and can be heard like a gunshot throughout the building, never addresed. Only two cubicles each for both sides for nearly forty guests at full capacity isn't good either. Akward doors that are on the wrong way often smack others in the face when simply entering the bathroom.

Pods look good but smell horrible. Toilets reek clear throughout the building at night and not for the normal reasons. Location is great but 99% of Hobart closes like a small country town.

I have not enjoyed my stay at all and will not be back. At $900 one expects at least basics. I do not feel like this establishment even comes close. Thoroughly irradiated and...

My boyfriend and I stayed one week in this hostel. This week was so rude for many reasons. First, there's no kitchen facilities. Just one poor water steamer to give just warm water for noodles. Not even a microwave or water dispenser. You will definitely need to eat dry stuff or cold (if you find some space in the only fridge) or eat outside everyday. There's just two small tables for more than 10 peoples who live in the hostel. So, if you are looking for a cold place, not frendly and small, you are in the right place. Second, the floor of the bathrooms is completely disgusting.I never seen that in there years of traveling. It's made with cheap material, and never fixed even if there's many complains about that already. A lot of water go inside the floor. When you walk, you have dirty water mixes with hair who comes on your feet and it smell so bad. It's horrible when you want to feel clean after your shower. Third, you don't have any security. Everybody can go inside the hostel because there's just one code for everyone. There's no staff and no reception. Just the number of the police office. Last point, the only good things was the washing machine, but sadly, one of these were already broken and the other one doesn't want to work. I texted the manager and he just said "it takes Time to fix it, sorry" And hopefully you don't have any back pain. Cause the matress of the capsule is the same thickness than a random carpet. The manager of this hostel doesn't care about their customers. He just want the money like a Bad business guy. I know that my revew will doesn't change anything. But I think for the price, people needs to know what kind of...
