Ok so this was super fun. Firstly, why are the food trucks in Hobart so much better than any other place I’ve been? Great variety, and really good food. We had some delicious pork skewers and also some skewers with grass fed beef and scallops! Secondly the music was fantastic; by 9pm everyone was up snd dancing, it was a real hoot. Would definitely be back again for this. Great for families.

Came here with a large group of friends on a Friday night and it was the perfect choice! There were so many food choices and we all enjoyed trying each others’ picks. The prices varied, there were some cheaper options as well as more expensive. They had live music and we all danced to it after eating. It was a lovely way to spend an evening. (It’s also hyper-local and zero waste!)

What is better than having snacks or meal with live musics? You can find these combination here in Street Eats @ Franko. There are food trucks selling various foods. Some of them are coming regularly, while some of them may not, therefore, if you want to get something, don't wait until next week since you may not be able to find that vendor 😁

Since they are different vendor for different food, it is bit difficult to give an objective review. Some foods have generous size, and some are quite small in size. So my trick is to see what other people order and see the size before...

Good concept but poorly thought out with seating. Eating food one handed while holding a drink and standing is not fun. If you are lucky enough to get one of the handful of tables or limited grassed areas, then it would be ok. Don't try to sit on the ample comfortable fountain wall to eat as the ushers will shoo you off, even though the safety rationale for not being allowed to sit there is not clear. Also noticed many people jumping the fence to enter without paying. Ushers need to be attending to this rather than harassing oldies who need a place to sit...

We enjoyed the music, venue and ambience.

Just a criticism regarding the paella dish. It was bland, dry, lacking in real paella flavour and way, way over priced. Mostly just dry boring rice with little else in it. To justify their stall position they must do much better. This food was disappointing.

We will try another dish next time.

Also, there was a nauseating burnt stench coming from another stand. Very unpleasant and...
