Yellow Bernard — Restaurant in Hobart

My second attempt with this place and unfortunately yet another really unpleasant experience. The first coffee I had here was actually pretty good but served with such a revolting attitude that it left me feeling pretty gross and a bit pissed off. Apparently I have contributed to the rental crisis in Hobart by not having actually been born here (born in Tas but not specifically Hobart) so deserve a dressing-down while I order my coffee. Today I was told (by the very same really rude person -perhaps the other staff are nicer and I just have REALLY poor luck?) that I could not have a coffee in my keep cup as there were remnants of a black coffee I had just finished. I guess I really could have walked the 40 minute walk back home to wash the black coffee from my cup before trying to order a second one. Gah! And now I'm leaving a not very nice...

Yellow Bernard... where do I start. When you ask me what I think of over the weekend, I will gladly tell you that I am eagerly waiting to get my hands on a Fast Eddie from Yellow Bernard. The atmosphere and service from this place is ELECTRIC, I am always excited to have a wholesome conversation with the amazing staff - Dave, Nathan, Lily and Sara. Best coffee in Hobart hands down. Dave does an outstanding job to remember your name. I was impressed after moving away for a couple of years he still remembered me! My standard take away is almond milk latte- they use good quality almond milk! I can also recommend the fast Eddie brew blend! Great for making an iced coffee and sensational in espresso martinis.
