Centenary Peaks — Hotel in Hume

While the staff were helpful and pleasant throughout my stay, this review reflects the accommodation itself not the service.

The images online are quite misleading. I believed I was booking a luxury apartment with scenic views, as shown in the photos. Nowhere was it made clear that the apartment was part of a motel complex. Instead of a tranquil outlook, my view was of bins and the motel car park.

Although the apartment looked clean on the surface, it didn’t feel particularly clean or comfortable. It also lacked any real sense of privacy despite being marketed as private accommodation. There were no blinds on the upstairs windows, so anyone walking past or using the motel’s BBQ area could easily see in. The bedrooms did have blinds, but they needed to remain closed, as passers by could see directly inside.

Overall, the property is run more like a motel than a luxury apartment, and that distinction should be made clear to future guests. I ended my stay earlier than planned, and at $500 per night, I don’t believe it offered good value for money.

I had initially visited this great establishment back in September 2014 with my beautiful wife, Rhea. I was so impressed by the facility that I felt a return visit was warranted, almost 9 years later...!!!!||Jennifer and Lindsay were the most affable and charming hosts and could not have been more pleasant, helpful, and obliging. The apartment was the same one in which we had stayed in back in 2014 and it was fantastic, even better than my memory served. Everything was perfectly appointed, clean and comfortable. Having a full, functional kitchen was great, as was the TV which had access to Netflix, Prime etc etc. The bathroom had a spa and the bedroom was absolutely comfortable. I had an amazing stay at Centenary Peaks' luxurious townhouse apartment in Bright. It's beautifully designed with a modern yet comfortable ambiance. From the moment I stepped foot into the townhouse, I was greeted by an elegant and inviting ambiance. The interior design showcased a perfect blend of modern sophistication and comfort. Every detail was carefully curated. The location is one of the highlights of this townhouse apartment. Being within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the nearby river added immense convenience and charm to my stay. Exploring the local area and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere was effortless, as everything was just a stone's throw away. The amenities at Bright Motor Inn (Centenary Peaks) were top-notch, and the mini golf course was a treat for the kids; the staff also provided excellent service.
