Motel Monaco — Hotel in Ipswich City

I have stayed here twice and can really recommend it. The value is fabulous and car at door parking is very convenient (and the bays are numbered with your individual room number so nobody will steal your spot when you go out for dinner!).

It's clean and the rooms are spacious. I like how there is heaps of bench space to put out your belongings as well as two generous bedside tables as WELL as empty drawers under the main bench to put stuff away (just remember to check those drawers when you leave!). Although travelling solo on both occasions, I appreciated a larger fridge than what you get in a 5 star (with freezer section) as well as a nice little cupboard with electric jug, toaster and all of the usual tea and coffee supplies. You can request a microwave (I did the first time). Basic toiletries provided. I always feel it's really clean. The shower on both occasions has been powerful and hot! None of these silly swipe cards that refuse to work, but a proper key on a key ring! Split system air conditioner (essential for Ipswich summer and Ipswich winter!).

There are a whole bunch of things I didn't use, such as a pool and coin-operated laundry, but these things make it family friendly as well. There is also a 7-11...

I would not recommend this motel at all for woman and children on there own , my daughter and her 2 children stayed there for 2 nights and the last morning they were showering and using toilet and there was a person outside the toilet window banging and clanging and full view of the toilet and shower at 8.00am in the morning I do agree with the cleanliness and the African I think ?? Cleaner was so friendly and beautiful lady but no words for the rest of the team , very disappointed with the treatment of my daughter and grandkids as they have been in a domestic violence and they were looking for peace of mind and some relaxation but greatly disappointed won’t be back there that’s for sure to weird...

You get what you pay for rooms were clean bed was comfortable amazing shower pressure and clean pool out the back with some nice seating to sit in the sun! My partner and I had no complaints except how its a little outdated but did the job and like i said you get what you pay for!
