Not Riverheart Parklands - but Beastie Monk.

I happened across this remarkable shop a few weeks ago. From the outside I got a feeling that it would be something special - unique and unashamedly real - and I wasn’t disappointed.

Inside transports you to a Bohemian cave, warmly furnished and abundantly inviting. Dotted around were comfortable lounges and places to relax. There was a large amount of clothing and accessories for purchase, from rock to punk and everything in between. I came away with 3 shirts and 3 pairs of socks.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I ordered a coffee and curled up in a corner, feeling all of my worries wash away. My coffee was perfect and it arrived quickly.

This was another remarkable experience.

There was some parking in site and in a nearby street. There was also a variety of healthy looking...

Park like surrounds with great fenced timber boardwalks that run along the river, a water feature, easily navigable cement paths, wheel chair access through rainforest plantings down manageable zig zag walkways down to the riverside, good seating, accessible toilets at entry. A great place to walk your dog, please pick up after them :) Leads to the zero depth water park further up King James Drive which also has free electronic BBQs, covered seating areas, grassy picnic spots and well maintained bathrooms. Some wheelchair friendly play equipment and manageable ramps to road. A great place to go for a beautiful family...

A dirty unkept place that is full of litter , remindes me of something from an American movie in the slums with steel fencing everywhere and having to be on constant lookout for what may approach, How come nearly 2 years after it flooded and it still isn't any closer to being repaired or fully opened, yeah structural integrity bla blah I get that but come on make it a priority for the residents of ipswich to enjoy we have hardly any nice walking paths as it is and this has sat in the state it is...

A nice walkway with plenty of potential, although there were lots of maintenance barriers and unfortunately lots of rubbish during our time of visiting. Dogs are allowed on the walk on leash, and there’s plenty of options for roadside parking along the platform walk. There’s a large children’s playground at one side of the walkway, and toilet blocks at either side.
