Covid aside I've been to Falls Creek most years since 1996 to ski. If you can afford it and you know what to expect (see other reviews for skiing) then fine. The key item is afford. You can't look out the window, see sunshine and think, today I will buy a lift ticket, unless you want to shell out 200 dollars per adult. tickets can be had cheaper if you book say two weeks in advance, but if the weather is dire and you don't want to ski on the day, money is lost. Yes you can cancel but by my understanding you loose 20 percent and the rest goes to a voucher that has to be used up in that season. On top of that the accommodation prices have rocketed since prior to Covid, it was always expensive but this is now "out of reach" expensive. On mountain facilities are of course captive audience excessive prices like concerts and sports events. So after all these years of being a loyal Falls Creek skier , I am now going to save up and ski somewhere where I don't feel I am being gouged and where the terrain, snow, food, facilities and weather , are significantly...
Read moreGreat place to learn how to ski with lots of tracks for all levels 😁👍🏻
Best time to visit is during June-August as there is more snow that time. You can also rent lodges in front of the ski lift for convenience but keep in mind they are around $1200 per night. 😢
The staff are really nice and always strike up conversations with you on the mouse trap like “how’s your day going?” or “Give me a fist bump man!” 😝
The weather is really cold and I ended up not wearing my goggles because it was really snowy and foggy in that day. ❄️
I was a beginner and had just started skiing with no experience and I learnt quickly and went on to ski the blue and green tracks on my second day so I do recommend taking classes. ✌🏻 There are adult and child classes depending on your level.
Definitely recommend Falls Creek! Staff are nice and lifts and transport are nice and well kept too! 👏🏻 Will definitely come...

Spent over $2,400 for just 3 days of skiing with the kids — and on top of that, they charge you just to get the card for the lift pass. Had a genuine medical reason (broken toe) and tried to request the early bird discount after missing the deadline, but no response for over 3 weeks. No phone number. Just emails into a black hole.
Customer service is non-existent, pricing is predatory, and there’s zero compassion or flexibility. Everything is overpriced — rentals, tickets, even kids’ lessons. The system is built to extract every dollar while offering the bare minimum in return.
We’ll be taking our family to a snowfield that values its visitors and treats them like human beings next time— Falls...
