What a beautiful place to be lost in the greenery, read the history of the place, imagine yourself in those days, how hard people worked to give this garden this shape & quietly give gratitude to the makers. A gentle thank you for the beautiful fig trees, giving shade & oxygen, at the age of 60 I sat on the swing & managed to take a selfie video thanks to modern phones…loved the automatic washroom, music played while one peed … what a journey. Could smile at myself & enjoyed walking from St. Leonard’s to Brennan Park to Oyster Cove & back home to St. Leonards. Have taken videos of quaint looking birds too… so happily dancing...

This is our local park.

It is tranquil with open and shaded areas. The amphitheatre-like topography also means that there are many different areas in the park for people to enjoy, including open grassy areas, more secluded areas amongst the trees, and a kids area with a small selection of equipment under a large Moreton Bay Fig. There is also a self-cleaning toilet.

Much of the park has a slope to it, although there is a flat area...

Lovely big greenspace Perfect for dog time and for time with the kids

There is not a fence to stop dogs playing with kids in the playground so if your dog doesn't mix with kids and vice versa find a different park

There's some exercise equipment too. Same thing about dogs find a different set of gym equipment if dogs...

A park with more variety than the middle aisle of a well stocked Aldi store. There are numerous picnic tables and benches, gym equipment, children's playground, plenty of room for dog exercise and interesting trees. Also, listen to that sweet sound of trains rumbling by.
