I rarely write bad reviews but this hotel made me to do so!||1) I reserved a triple room and actually that was the only reason I reserved this hotel since they offer triple rooms with THREE TWIN BEDS (explicitly mentioned in the description) as usually rollover beds are very uncomfortable. However, when we checked in, we were given a twin room with two twin beds and a rollover bed, and they said they do not have any triple room with three twin beds! The room actually was too small so they could barley fit the rollover bed.Talking with manger did not help and even hotels.com from where we booked did not take responsibility! To me, it's exactly what called as FALSE advertisement.||2) The hotel is very small and even do not have an elevator and restaurant is on 4th floor! You have to take stairs to get to your room or restaurant. The breakfast buffet is also very normal with few options and not at the level of a 4 star hotel.||3) We stay two nights as we had no choice to change our hotel that lately in our trip and they did not clean up our room during our stay.||4) For a day and half, the hotel did not have warm water so we could not even take shower during our stay.||||So dont be fooled by Photoshoped pictures and few good reviews. You get nothing for your money...
Read moreWe went there as a family, had taken two rooms. The hotel gave us good rooms on the 2nd floor with a partial view over the Flame Towers. The rooms are well-decorated and are large and spacious, and just the perfect one for a family. ||||The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor and the terrace has just about a perfect view over the Flame Towers and the surrounding area. It is extremely small and very cosy seating, not exactly the most comfortable. The breakfast was not that great, they didnt even have a toaster that worked and when we asked the staff to heat up the bread for us, we did face quite a bit of resistance, you constantly have to keep asking for just about everything and it comes when your breakfast is almost over. Service is super slow, dont expect much. Honestly, I would advice not having breakfast there at all. ||||The location of the hotel is excellent. in the heart of the old city, close to the metro station, a lot of restaurants around. ||||Despite the bad experience on the food and service, I still recommend this hotel for its location, comfort and cleanliness. The people of Azerbaijan, wherever we went, were extremely nice to us, so I will not let one hotel spoil my impression of...
Read moreThis was a great stay in Baku. This hotel is located on the edge inside the old town walled city - walking distance to exits and all the main city attractions. We booked the suite (which was on the top floor & no lift), but was well worth the daily hikes up. The ||spacious suite had two huge bedrooms separated by a massive sitting room between which could have had a couple of tables, rather than just seating. There were two bathrooms and a kitchenette (which we didn't use). The absolute highlight to this suite/ hotel was the balcony that we thoroughly enjoyed each morning before heading out to discover the city and each evening to recap the day. The evening views were of the excellent dancing flame tower light show. The hotel breakfast was served on this level and seating was available either inside or out on the terrace. Breakfast was varied from hot sausages, eggs, mini pancakes to cold salads & cereal. (Coffee not so great/ hot though) Hotel staff were very friendly and I would thoroughly recommend the location,...
