I didn't like and like this experience 🙈 The place is so nice and beautiful and it was before a hotel and it could be one of the most successful restaurants in Baku. ..but I don't know I was comfortable there.
The service was not good...the waiter was so talkative and we couldn't be rude to them and interrupt them coz it wasn't polite coz I know how these people would stressed and tired from being just working ...bit at the same time I needed a time with my friend to talk and chat...it's not like they've been talking all the time...but come and go. Plus, the shisha wasn't good coz there was only one guy I guess...or maximum 2!! And it wasn't enough at all for such a big restaurant!!
Money wise, it was expensive, the same as it's competitors in the area...but not worthy as others to be honest!!
Overall, I recommend visiting for a cup of tea to get the chance to see the old hotel...or just pass it and take a walk in the next hotel that the government made as small market with small shops 👍

Read moreThe restaurant is located in the old city it seems small from the entrance but it has a spacious unique design from inside with very beautiful traditional decoration ,and they have a kids play area which I found very helpful for families with kids. The food was very delicious ,flavourful and fresh .The service was very good a bit slow because the restaurant was very busy ,yet the waiters were very friendly and polite. The prices are fair too. The live music was a great addition to the atmosphere. The only thing I didn’t like that they allowed hookah and cigarettes smoking inside and the ventilation was not good as the grill smokes were filling space too. I will definitely recommend the place and visit it...
Read moreThis place is unique because it is taking place in the Baku Old City. The restaurant is taking a place in one of the old structure over there. I guess it was a bazar and each room was a store (do correct me if I’m wrong) The place just take you back with history. The owner daughter has done each room in a different era style. It is just so beautify to set in throes rooms. I guess you may need to book them. The mail seating area however, I guess it was the center of souq or the bazar main. Now about the food; it has average taste and the price is ok. But the tea is amazing. The staff are friendly and they do speak languages such as Arabic...
