Qiz Galasi hotel is like a small palace! Top comfort, heartwarming staff, perfect location and silent at night. In 55 counties visited so far, this hotel goes straight into our top 5 due to its unique character, comfort and fantastic staff. Farid, Leon, Ali and the others really made our stay special - it’s amazing how impactful a genuine smile upon arrival is on the hotel experience, and they were always happy to help us in anyway we needed including sharing a WhatsApp number to contact them with any questions.

The traditional decor in the rooms is absolutely stunning. A quiet room is very important for me, and ours was completely silent. The mattress was firm and very comfortable. The whole hotel is sparkling clean. The quaint rooftop terrace offers wonderful views of the flames and the city. You won’t see the sunset here or in any other hotels in the city due to the geography of the surrounding area - it sets behind the city, not on the coast. That might save you some time to know! As described, breakfast is available in a restaurant a 2 minute walk away. We didn’t avail of this as we don’t usually eat a big breakfast anyway. The hotel is in the heart of the old town, walkable to all of the main sites in Baku and theres a metro nearby if you want to go further. It’s easy to get a taxi nearby also. Not straight outside the door but less than a 5 minute walk.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent during our whole stay and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed it so much that after a four night stay we returned for a further three nights after touring other towns and area’s. • On the first stay we had room 8, which is a large room with amazing views of the flaming towers. On our return we stayed in room 7, which was a triple.... large and very comfortable room, decorated in a tasteful style with character. The bathroom was large and modern. Fresh towels and water supplied every day. (Unlimited bottles of water are available on request throughout your stay). In our opinion room 7, the triple is the best choice... The service and friendliness of all the staff including housekeeping was exceptional. Particular mention of Nariman, who could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. I have been staying in the panoramic view room for 8 nights. The room is even better than in pictures: very clean, big, bright and well-equipped. Bed is very comfortable. The terrace overlooking the flames towers and the sea is spectacular! The staff, as well as the owner, is very kind and helpful. They all do their best to make your staying unforgettable. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the charming old town, and the main attractions are all at walking distance. I definitely recommend Quiz Qalasi Hotel, and I am looking forward to come back to Baku one...
