ApartStay — Hotel in New Providence

We stayed in unit 2, Feb. 15-20, 2020.

Overall though, we moderately enjoyed our stay, being that the place was newer and near a beach. We thought we were really going to love the proximity to Beach however didn’t use the beach, we went to other beaches. The property is on a very very busy street, across the street from the beach. Loved the complimentary beach towels, however they didn’t have enough extras to go around while being washed. Location is not near anything to speak of, highly suggest renting a car, public buses stop running at 6 PM. The grounds are open to the public road with no gate that is operable, lighting is not the best, kind of an eerie feel at night. Only 1 A/C unit, our living room and bathroom was very warm, ceiling fan didn’t work. Only one TV in the living room, none in the bedroom. Sand everywhere, they need a rising area outside. Ikea College dorm room furniture, it’s new but flimsy and showing wear. It’s run by an apartment management company Apartstay, we didn’t hear from anyone, unless we asked for something, not particularly helpful or kind. The exterior grounds around the building and perimeter could use a lot more upkeep and picking up garbage. Netflix is wonderful, it gave us something to do at night. At check in our room was ready. The place is literally brand new - just built. The bathroom was very spacious and had ample amenities. The kitchen area allowed us to cook with an electric stove and standard apartment size fridge. Really nice white oak wash flooring. The sofa bed futon was extremely comfortable and can sleep two comfortably - it is extra long can accommodate tall people :) The beds were plush pillow top sorta top of the line. We didn't run out of towels or linens for the unit. its self serviced so pretty much you clean up after yourself. You can request a fresh set of linens at the front desk within their business hours. They also offer laundry services on site. Overall it was able to sleep 6 adults comfortably. Oh yeah the TV had ENDLESSSSSSS channels there is something for everyone on the Tele. An incredible experience in customer service. Miss Knowles, the hostess, is an utter joy. I'm a Canadian who was in an auto accident. I needed to recuperate before heading home. She waited patiently for my wife and I to show. Stayed for hours, helping with a variety of things. She even drove my wife to the grocery store, has been 1st class plus all the way.
