The establishment was highly rated and decided to give it a try, boy am I glad we did. The place sits right on the canal with a great view (we were seated at the windows overseeing the canal) of the water that provided a view of two turtles, numerous fish, birds and a sole shark. The kitchen staff as well as customers were freely feeding the turtles and the birds had their fill as well as they took full advantage of the free meal. The staff was extremely pleasant, accommodating and were joking back and forth with us, a great plus. Tried a Bahamian beer (Kalik light), very tasty for a light beer and refreshing. Also had a strawberry margarita which was very good. Ordered two entrees, penne portobello with grilled jumbo shrimp along with a Mediterranean seafood stew that included shrimp, scallops, grouper, calamari, potatoes, onions and mussels in the best tomato broth I have ever had. I downed that seafood dish, it was more than I thought I could eat, however, I overstuffed myself by eating every last drop by mopping up the last drops with the garlic bread that accompanied our dinners. The bowl was pretty much cleaned of any broth! The other dish was absolutely delicious as well, the Gorgonzola as a keynote of the dish but in no way did it overpower it, a great balance by the chef. The kitchen has a very talented staff as these dishes were amazing. The views, atmosphere and of course the star of the show, the food, make this a must stop for everyone in my opinion. We were in the main dining room but they have outside dining out front as well as on decks on the sides of...

One of the best attractions for this place are the turtles they have swimming in the back. What an incredible way to see turtle all night long. You can even throw them some lettuce for some food.
We ordered the Calamari and a pizza with a vegan cheese sub since my guts decided it doesn't allow me to eat dairy.
The pizza was cooked well and they managed melt the vegan cheese which is tricky and the taste was good. They did shave some parmesan on the pizza which was a bit silly given that I asked for a non dairy cheese but it was easy to pick off as needed. The Calamari was fried rings, cooked well and is about what you would expect.
The second time around we got the tenders and fries. They were fine... Ultimately we are happy with the turtles...
Read moreThe owners need to put up a sign that says DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE. Bread and other non-veg foods should never be fed to turtles as they lack the enzymes needed to break down foods like bread. Turtles can't properly digest processed foods, and turtles do not obtain the vitamins and nutrients they require for proper growth and development. I saw multiple guests feeding them food such as a large hoagie roll and even fried onion rings, but mainly bread. The turtles come around because people are feeding them and so they are becoming reliant on easy meals instead of looking for their own food. Feeding wildlife foods that are not part of their diet is disrespectful to the animals and nature, and should not be encouraged or overlooked.
Other than that, the service was good, portions were very generous, food was hot and delicious, and the...
