News Café — Restaurant in New Providence

I went in a few times around 7:30am, and twice around lunch. I got coffee twice, and various menu items the other times. Each time I prayed that a different woman would be working. The cashier/waitress was so mean. You may ask why I went back, well this was one of very limited options for breakfast near cable beach. She did not smile at once, converse at ALL, and each time I felt as if I was a huge annoyance and inconvenience to her. At the price you pay, (gratuity ALWAYS included) I felt a huge lack of customer service. No one wants to feel like that while on vacation in paradise. Somewhat disappointed as I checked the reviews prior to my visit and was so excited to experience it. I felt underwhelmed by what was described and what I experienced. The AC in the corner was leaking a puddle with a bucket to catch the water but still water on the floor causing a damp smell. The floors needed a wash and in general not that clean. I ordered a platter, it had pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. When deciding to get this platter, I really wanted pancakes, I thought they were being made from scratch but it wasn't, it was frozen pancakes so that was a big disappointment, the sausage wasn't that great tasting, I had a bite of one and didn't eat the rest, they just tasted odd.
