The service is terrible for me the first time I went there to watch a performance which was last year September I sat for more than an hour and some before I got anyone to serve me they would pass you up and down and look you in your eye hole and don’t ask if you need anything at least the person in charge of the shift that night tried his best to rectify it and continually apologized for his staff poor service and am sorry I never got his name but I do remember his face , fast forward went there tonight to watch another performance same thing happened and tonight was extreme there was no where to sit at first so I stood at the door for over thirty minutes these servers saw me standing there walked pass me up and down not once asked may I help you a couple came in after me and got a chair immediately my mouth dropped after inquiring about it there was a measly apology again I was then asked would you like something I politely declined and just tried to enjoy the performance I came to support cause there was no way my money was being spent in there for poor customer service .The sandy port location really need to do better seems to me if your not a particular individual(s)you don’t get catered to and that’s wrong as every customer should be treated with...
Read morePlaced an order this morning for an iced latte to go. Waited in the shop chilling for about 15 mins for my drink. A big group of people came in, not a big deal - I don’t mind waiting. I moved over to the bar in case they didn’t see me sitting since it was busy. One of the baristas asked if I was good. I said I was waiting for an iced vanilla latte. She came back and asked if I already ordered, I said yes awhile ago before this big crowd. Again not a big deal - I understand orders get mixed up and they were busy. She made my drink, gave it to me. I left. While crossing the sidewalk the barista ran back out to me and said they said you didnt pay. I handed back my receipt from 15 mins ago and said look at the time on it. I can tell you who took my order.
I don’t blame the barista who had the interaction with me - she was doing as she was told in the store. I’m disappointment with the server who took my order, lost it, and then claimed I never paid and sent her coworker to confront. Not worth an $8 coffee and will not come back. I usually don’t leave reviews but this was a really strange interaction. The level of busy at the shop was still less than 10 people who came after me so really strange overall. Absolutely terrible service. Such an overall rude...
Read moreBon Vivants is hands down the cutest coffee shop and small bar on the island. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with thoughtful, nostalgic design — from vintage Bahamian maps and old photos to the perfectly curated music that sets the tone. The interior is stunning and cozy, with just the right mix of charm and character.
Whether I’m stopping in for a matcha, latte, cappuccino, or winding down with one of their phenomenal cocktails, I always have a great time here. Their appetizers are delicious, and the staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
One of the best things about Bon Vivants is how it shifts so effortlessly from day to night. During the day, it’s a calm, relaxed coffee shop, perfect for catching up with a friend or taking a quiet moment for yourself. By night, it transforms into a chic, speakeasy-style bar with a totally different vibe, often featuring live music and a more intimate atmosphere.
As a local, I bring guests here often, and I love popping in on my own too. Whether you’re visiting Nassau or live here year-round, Bon Vivants is an...
