I would’ve rated this property as a 2 star property because of the aesthetics & lack of amenities. The previously posted properties is not what it looked like as of 2 days ago. However, I actually liked staying there overall. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. Downsides…The Happy Hour offered was extremely limited in drink options and the music played from someone’s phone (no one danced) but it was good island sounds! The vibe was more of a kickback than a happy hour. The addition of a blender for mixed drinks (in a pineapple or coconut) & some bar bites would elevate things tremendously! The breakfast looked NOTHING like the photos posted by the property nor did the pool area look like their photos either. No tables had umbrellas and there was no lounge on the property. The bar could use some repairs and the breakfast could be much better. One waffle maker was not sufficient & one server weakened service. With all that said, it’s one of the better budget options because the rooms have full kitchens to make your own meals. My suggestions, bring your own 2 ply toilet paper and hit up a grocery store to stock your room’s refrigerator. Other than that, the price is good for what you get. I would probably stay again if I were traveling on a tight budget.

It's a 3 star resort that deserves 5 stars. To be honest when we first arrived we were a little worried. It's a dated property and not like the luxury we were used to. We had to remind ourselves how little we paid for the room. We were there for a whole week and decided to make the best out of the situation. And we had a blast! They were very accommodating and helpful to us. Theres a pool that they kept very clean. It's not heated so it's was a bit cool but I still took a swim. They have water and coffee available which saved us a lot of money. They do sell breakfast for $8 but we didn't try it. We brought packets of oatmeal and they provide an electric kettle to boil water with so we saved more money that way. One of the biggest perks is the free social they have by the pool every night. They provide the rum punch and music. It was a good time and a nice way to meet other guest and staff. The resort is not far away from two nice beaches, the fish fry and the cruise port. I highly recommend.

This is a nice simple low cost hotel that served my needs well when visiting the Bahamas very adequately. The rooms were clean, there is Wi-Fi and a good breakfast in the mornings. There is also a nice little pool and patio area. They have drinks here in the evenings. The hotel is within fair walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and other attractions. I made good use of this during a 4 day stay. The pool is very nice for swimming laps. The breakfast involves good food and diverse options. They have hot tea which made me happy. I had an issue with the door lock while I was there. It needed attention 3 times. Staff addressed issues fairly quickly though. The Wi-Fi didn't work all the time but it worked most of the time. When it did work it worked well enough to stream TV shows and do work remotely. Enjoyed my stay.

There is a reason this place is cheap and cheerful. The rooms promise things that simply are not there. We booked a room with kitchenette iron and microwave none existed. The two double/king bed was a creaky double and creakier single. The hairdryer was cracked and not working. There were no coat hangers or cups in the room. Although we asked on arrival about a broken tv it was not repaired until we asked again the following day. The maid service left the floor not just wet but soaking, my partner slipped on entering the room and the towel I used to mop the floor then had to be replaced as if was too wet to use again. The bathroom tap was hanging off and had to be pushed hard to turn on and off.||The pool had a light fall out and sink to the floor with the electrical wire hanging from the side, there was urgency to sort this which was left for the last two days of my trip.||Many of the staff are unhelpful and just grunt when you smile or greet them with a good morning. Sean and William are very friendly and helpful and give the place a real holiday feel. They supply free cocktails and a few snacks in the evenings, these help but is the only small part of friendly you are likely to find.||The Manager, I believe to be a female, replies to any complaints or enquiries with a ‘come by in the morning to get it sorted’ this is on permanent repeat! No solutions to any issues until it’s time for you to leave taking the problem away until the next guest arrives.||Avoid the place. I took videos to show the poor quality not knowing I wouldn’t be able to show them but believe me, it’s below basic and they just...

I needed a pet friendly place to stay while in Bahamas. This was why colony club inn appealed to me since there weren’t much in Nassau. I hate to leave a review like this but after much consideration it can’t be helped. so many things wrong with this stay. While the staff that worked at the property were nice this can’t cover up for everything. I don’t go on vacation to kill bugs. I killed a total of 10 roaches during my stay. I didn’t want to bring anything back with me. Someone opened my door attempted to enter my room the first night there but were only stopped due to the security latch. 1 hr later another person attempted to use a key card to gain access but was unsuccessful. I immediately let hotel staff no the following morning but they didn’t follow up and failed to change our room. This is located in an area of Nassau that if it rains for 2 plus hours there will be flooding. Unless you don’t mind footing it through water. If you’re in your room while housekeeping is coming around, they won’t even ask if you need new towels you will literally have to run them down. there is a free continental breakfast. While that is a plus the flies in the bread bin definitely were a turn off. The cricket club, which is only a short walk away was a great spot for breakfast. The Internet and television were down my entire stay. No Wi-Fi or anything now this might not be the fault of the property. The pool was clean and there was a happy hour that they held each night. I hope everybody has a better stay there than I did because I will not...
