The Bahama Grill serves up incredible plates. Since I shared my dish, I can offer a review on both. Let's start with the Conch Burger. First off - I've never had a Conch Burger, and I wasn't sure what to expect. If you've never had one, it's in between ground beef and crab cake texture. I know, that's hard to grasp - but go with me. My burger was plentiful thick, hand tossed, breaded and patty. What I enjoyed was that Bahama Grill gave it a slight grilled flavor. As you bite into it, your also hit with a blend of chili pepper, garlic and black pepper. The bun was thick and fluffy. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the red onion provided a nice spice, also. The fried plantains were some of the best I've had, and I've had them from different islands and central America. The plantain was fried to a nice sweet texture. It wasn't too soft, or too firm. The carrots and broccoli were delightfully steamed. Soft bite with a nice crunch. The lobster. Steamed lobster. Masterfully crafted to perfection. Spices were well crafted and complimented each other. The tail was a thick portion and offered more than we could eat. The tail was served with a very slight char grilled taste and brushed with lite butter. The mac n cheese was ridiculously good. Never have I had mac n cheese prepared like this. Baked cheese, spices and heavenly. I have no...
Read moreThe food was so good at one point I had my wedding dinner here. That was almost five years ago. The food isn't the same quality as it was then, sometimes hit or miss. Could just be my taste buds but the roasted chicken always has a funny aftertaste to me. The food, to me seems like the old bahamian way of cooking, which a lot of people still love. I often get the pork ribs and sometimes the roasted chicken in hopes that the flavor would be different the next time around. My favorite is the little muffin/tarts that they have for dessert and the ginger lemonade that is always full of ginger. You can really get your money's worth regarding quality and quantity of food. Sometimes you're gonna wish you'd save your money which can be the case with any restaurant really. I'd say if you do order here, just pray for the best because it may just be the...
Read moreCame here as part of a tour that I booked through a cruise that I was on. I liked that the place looked and felt really local, it was really clean and staff was great. Food tasted great, but I come from an area where a lot of people from the Carrabin have settled so it was pretty much what was offered as the meal that came as part of the package were items I could get at home, meal was rib, chicken, spiced rice, with mac and cheese. I would have preferred an option to get a sampling of more local food, like conch, that I hear about at home but can't get easily at home. The lemonade sweetened with Agave was really good, and all the food had fresher spices than stuff where I am from so that was a bonus. I would go back, but if I do I will want a menu rather than a preselected meal. Based on what I had, try the ribs...
