Parking at The New Duff was a bit challenging due to the limited spaces available in front and the busy road adjacent. It's advisable to back into a parking spot for an easier departure. Like many quaint spots in Nassau, entry requires a ring of the doorbell, adding a touch of exclusivity. The staff at The New Duff were nothing short of welcoming. We sampled a variety of their offerings, each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Nassau, which was a pleasant surprise given the quality of the food and the overall experience. Despite a sudden downpour, we encountered a family from a cruise who insisted that visiting The New Duff was essential - a sentiment we quickly understood. Their coffee was notably smooth and a perfect complement to the meal. A highlight of our visit was the chance to meet Kendrick, the owner. He generously shared his story with us, embodying the warmth and charm we experienced from the entire staff. It's clear that The New Duff isn't just about great food and coffee; it's about creating a memorable experience for every guest. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to Nassau, knowing a stop at The New Duff will be on our itinerary.

I highly recommend The New Duff in Nassau, Bahamas! We were suggested to visit by some locals when we asked for a good breakfast spot, and we’re so glad we did. It’s about a 20-minute walk from our hotel, the British Colonial, and totally worth it. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and very helpful in explaining the menu. The food was incredible, with the pulled pork and bacon breakfast sandwiches being standouts, and their famous pastries were a real treat! We also had their refreshing lemonade and iced tea, which were perfect for the warm weather. The prices were fantastic, and you definitely get great value for your money. We were so pleased with our experience that we ended up going back three times during our stay. I would remove 1/2 star for commodity because the place is small and there isn’t enough place to sit. On our last day before heading to the airport, we even ordered a dozen of the bread they use for the breakfast sandwiches to take with us. Overall, an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to return to Nassau and make a stop at The New Duff again!

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE The New Duff!!! First, the staff was super friendly, especially the manager. We have been there four times. We love it so much. The first visit we got a guava Duff and toasted coconut. My husband's favorite was the guava and mine was the coconut. Amazing! The sauce is to die for. We came back for breakfast, our favorite thing was the toasted coconut French toast, We also enjoyed a breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon and cheese. Of course we had to get a Duff with our breakfast we had pina colada. Another night we came back for dinner and had stuffed buns there are three in each order. We got jerk chicken and Ginger pork. Both were great. When we flew back from Eleuthera our first stop was The New Duff, And we had guava and French toast for a snack. It's not expensive. To explain what a Duff is... It is a. Steamed stuffed bao bun with a delicious fruit & rum sauce all over. I could put the sauce on everything. It's so good. The buns are delicate and moist. Just delicious.

Delicious food. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll, Egg Bacon Cheddar sandwich and the Jerk Chicken Stuffed Buns. Let me tell you, all of these items were absolutely amazing. They really stuffed the buns with lots of chicken and coleslaw. This dish carried a combination of sweet, salty, and a hint of spice. Soft buns. The Cinnamon Roll was steaming hot and fresh. The dough used for the stuffed buns and the cinnamon roll tasted like homemade. I recommend the Guava Ginger Lemonade drink as well as the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Both are very satisfying drinks. The Guava Lemonade tasted sour and had just the right amount of sweetness. The Milk Tea had 25% sugar in it and it was too sweet for me, though still a very fulfilling drinks. I highly recommend the stuffed buns. We waited for a while for our big order and the wait was worth it. They took their time to make the food and every item tasted high quality. They have nice seating with good light. The staff was friendly and kind!

Stop. Scrolling. Drive here now! Look no further, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert! Chefs kiss, truly. Really affordable, delicious and consistent!! They ran out of guava swirls the 2nd time we went back. Gotta get there early. 10/10 jerk chicken buns we went back later got 4 more!! (I heard someone else order JERK PORK) I am going to try that tomorrow! 8/10 breakfast cheddar/egg (would prob add jerk chicken to it next time! Egg was fluffy! Bun was buttery! No American plastic Cheese sealed the deal! 8/10 guava duff. I am not a “sweets” person. But I liked it. Not too over powering sweetness. And mixed in fruit, which was excellent. Drinks: I got the guava ginger lemonade and it had a bit too much ginger for my liking but it was ok. My husband got a wellness shot- he said he felt a rush, but really terrible flavor ( but they really aren’t supposed to taste good anyway )

We first visited The New Duff when we were in Nassau in December 2021 on a cruise. It was so good that when we had another cruise to Nassau today, we all decided to make a return trip! Our family of four shared two guava duffs. They were so delicious… A perfect combination of steamed dough, fruit, and sauce! We paired them with refreshing drinks, an Earl Grey iced tea, and a chilled mango hibiscus drink. The store is delightfully, cool and decorated with artifacts and information about the origin of the guava duff. Out-of-the-way, about 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the cruise port. But it’s definitely well worth a trip!
